The NCAA Division II Wrestling Committee provides this evaluation as a means to gather feedback on officials for future championships. Please rate each official using the numerical value of 5-1. If you have no opinion regarding an official because he never officiated any of your matches please mark N/A.

The rating scale to be used is as follows:

5 Outstanding. Definitely recommend the official be invited to the 2012 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.

4 Above Average. The official is qualified to work the 2012 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.

3 Average. The official is qualified to work the 2012 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.

2 Below Average. The official is questionable to work the 2012 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.

1 Poor. The official should not be invited to work the 2012 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.

PROTEST FORM

Protest Procedure

Protests may only be lodged for errors in the recording of points or match results and nonjudgment errors in the application of rules. The coach must inform the official scorer and the referee of his intent to protest the bout before the bout sheet is removed from the scorers’ table. The referee will note this intent to protest the bout on the bout sheet and will notify the opposing wrestler not to leave the area until the matter is settled. Scorer’s table personnel or the referee shall inform the head table that a protest has been made. A protest must be filed with the games committee in writing within a 10-minute period following the bout. The protest must be in written form on a protest sheet provided by the games committee and be accompanied with a $50 protest fee. Should the appellant’s protest be upheld, the fee will be returned. Protests fees are included in championships receipts.
