He sits on the golden mountain in Eden, but he’s also around the throne keeping everything in the season. • He is also the keeper of all the keys related to access into the different realms of Heaven Preparation for Sonship • Layer 2: OFANIM or WHEELS – Wheels within wheels • Chief: RAZIEL • They conduct the power of God, provide the energy for the throne of God to travel. They are also the power sources of heaven. Preparation for Sonship • They are seven wheels locked into one another and constantly spinning itself around, and this movement makes the sound of thunder that is around the throne of God. Preparation for Sonship • Layer 3: ER'ELIM or MIGHTY ONES • Chief: TZAPHKIEL • They sit over the territories of Heaven; they are Sons of God, they become Mighty Ones and have been given territorial government. Preparation for Sonship • Layer 4: CHASHMALIM or BRILLIANT ONES, Shiny Ones • Chief: TZADKIEL • They carry the blazing image of the Father, and they open a door for the Father to manifest Himself on the earth in our worship Preparation for Sonship • Layer 5: SERAPHIM – Fiery, burning Ones – • Chief: GABRIEL • They are the sentinels that watch over the gates of God. We are gates, so we have seraphim watching over us. • They bring fire for refining Preparation for Sonship • Layer 6: MALACHIM or KINGS • chief: URIEL • They are kings and rulers. They rule until the sons of God come to their place of rulership. They are the sentinels and gate keepers who watch over the mountains of God. Preparation for Sonship • They hold our scroll and caretake our throne by ruling as kings until we are able to take our places. They rule over principalities or our spheres of authority. They align the Chancellors’ houses to engage us with the precepts of God Preparation for Sonship • Layer 7: ELOHIM • Chief: HANIEL • They often look like lions and they are the manifestation of the voice of God. • They watch over the word that they are, because their name is Elohim: the word of God spoken to see His works. • They administer through the living letters Preparation for Sonship • They come and they manifest on the voice of God, to bring the manifestation of the word of God through the Everlasting Doors. • Although they are the word, they become a living thing, and until that living thing has manifested on the earth they cannot return Preparation for Sonship • They are all over the earth, they sit on the top (third) layer of the atmosphere, the same place where principalities sit. • They should be the ones that release the glory and the manifestation of God through the Everlasting Doors. Preparation for Sonship • Layer 8: B’NAI-ELOHIM – Sons of God • Chief: MICHAEL • They were created to have a dominion and a place of rulership. These are the ones called watchers in the book of Enoch, that fell on the earth. Preparation for Sonship • The 200 watchers that came down to Earth and left their first estate, they had the highest form of rulership. • The giants came from their offspring. The Nephilim Giants seek to usurp our rule on the mountain thrones in the heavenly realm of the kingdom of God Preparation for Sonship • Layer 9: CHERUBIM • Chief: RAPHAEL • They have faces of lion, eagle, ox and man. They carry the symbol of the nature of the desire of God’s expression. • They have the mandate to answer the call of God and they reflect His image. • Their eyes are all the time on the image of God. Preparation for Sonship • Layer 10: ISHIM – Manlike Beings • Chief: SANDLEPHON • They are the messengers of the judicial system of Heaven. • They carry the judgments, and they are the ones that carry the scrolls of God. Preparation for Sonship • When the court sessions are in process, they are the ones that deliver the scrolls from the realm of the kingdom and they operate very much around the courts of God. Hamilton Center for Medieval Studies, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN 55455, USA; [email protected] Received: 6 October 2019; Accepted: 17 December 2019; Published: 20 December 2019 Abstract: Visión deleytable is a fictional tale based in the Aristotelian philosophical and Neoplatonic mystical beliefs of the Judeo-Arabic tradition of medieval Iberia. This fifteenth-century work of imaginative fiction, a “best-seller” among Iberian readers, tells of the ascent of the active intellect to the celestial spheres and an experience of God. In this narrative, knowledge of the Latin trivium and quadrivium are combined with that of the Arabo-Andalusi philosophic traditions. Particularly noteworthy is the author, De la Torre’s extensive use of Maimonides’ work, the Guide of the Perplexed, as a source for the wisdom revealed in the Visión deleytable. While Maimonides’ position on the mystic experience is debated by contemporary scholars, in the present study I explore how the concept of intellectual mysticism, applied to the Neoplatonic/Aristotelian model of the intellect’s conjunction with the divine as found in Maimonides’ work, also describes the goal toward which the protagonist (and reader) of the Visión deleytable strive. As such, the Visión deleytable reveals how this notion of human-divine union (most notably in the concept of the “prophet-angel”) from the Judeo-Andalusi tradition, transmitted in Arabic and Hebrew, was translated into Spanish and adopted into the Catholic and converso frameworks of the Visión deleytable in fifteenth-century Iberia. Drawing upon what was the scientific discoveries of his day, and the Darwinian conflict on creationism and evolution, Lifshitz points out that the Torah does acknowledge the existence of dinosaurs. These were the creations of the prior Shemita, he says. Not only this, but Rabbi Lifshitz goes further to say that Adam was not really the first human being, but that there were countless people before him, which he calls pre-Adamites. This controversial view of Rabbi Lifshitz has placed his commentary and other written works on the taboo list in certain Jewish circles which considered his revelations not in accordance with the spirit of Judaism. But nothing could be further from the truth. There are some Kabbalists such as Rabbi Yehuda Fatiyah who, in his Beit Lehem Yehuda (2,66A), wrote questioning certain aspects of the doctrine of the Shemita. Yet even Rabbi Fatiyah, in Minhat Yehuda (pg. 222), expounds on a section of the Zohar which speaks of the pre-Adamic parents of Adam. He even states that Adam’s parents copulated on the spiritual plane that his mother conceived and gave birth to Adam’s body which, as I referenced earlier, was completely astral.

Angels Abstract Jewish tradition considers angels to be messengers of God, but holds that they must not be substituted for God. Isaiah 63:9 speaks of the angel of God's divine countenance—an important designation in Jewish mysticism that has variously been taken to mean the archangel Metatron, the Shekhinah (or immanent divine presence), or the redeeming angel and was understood by some to be an extension of God and a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The Talmud (Hagigah 13b) declares that each divine angelic legion is formed of a million members, but that the legions themselves are numberless.
