Dan has played hockey for over 20 years and in that time he has had four successful seasons in the WHL and captained the Grant MacEwan Men’s University Hockey Team. He participated in the , played on the ACAC all star team and has been a Molson Three Star recipient and won awards as top goal scorer and points leader during his time with the . Over the last five years his focus has shifted from playing to coaching and he has run a of successful development camps across Alberta with his company Competitive Thread. He is currently in his second full season as an associate coach with the University of Alberta Golden Bears while pursuing a PhD in Sport Psychology.

Dave grew up playing AAA hockey in , B.C. before going on to a successful junior career playing for the Penticton Panthers (BCHL), the (BCHL), and TriCity Americans (WHL). After junior, he attended the University of Alberta and played for the Golden Bears Hockey Program winning the national university championships in 2005. In 2005-2006, he signed a professional contract with the 's Muskegon Fury and attended their training and exhibition camp. Dave has been instructing goalies for the past 13 years and has gained experience as the Head Goaltending Instructor for the Okanagan Hockey School, the University of Alberta Golden Bears Goalie School, and Hockey School. Dave also runs goalie development camps, coaching clinics, and various evaluations for Hockey Alberta. Dave currently is the goalie coach for the of the AJHL. Jamie grew up playing AAA hockey in Prince George , B.C. before going on to a successful junior hockey career with the Prince George Spruce Kings (BCHL), Regina Pats (WHL), Penticton Panthers (BCHL) and the (BCHL). After concluding his junior career, Jamie went on to play for Brandon University Bobcats (CIS) and the University of (CIS). After completing his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the , Jamie went on to play for the Anchorage Aces (WCHL), (ECHL) and the Bakersfield Condors (ECHL). Jamie has been instructing for the past 10 years where he worked for the Development Institute, OHS Hockey Schools and the University of Lethbridge Hockey School. Recently, Jamie was hired to be the goalie coach for the Chinese Women's National Team. Jamie helped the team qualify for the in Vancouver. Ty enjoyed a very successful playing career in the WHL as well as at the professional level. Ty spent time in the Edmonton Oilers (NHL) system and played in the AHL, ECHL as well as in Europe. Ty has been a full time instructor with ATC for the past 2 years and is currently the goalie coach for Leduc U18AAA (AMHL).

Brian Shackel Making Stridz Athlete Development is a sports consulting business which is dedicated to the growth and development of athletes of all ages and skill levels. Through the use of Dartfish Video Analysis Software athletes are able to use visual feedback as a method of improving their technique. Making Stridz Athlete Development is a strong believer of the importance of sport science and specifically Biomechanics on athlete development and performance improvement. Making Stridz Athlete Development was founded by Brian Shackel. Brian is a graduate from the University of Manitoba with a Masters Degree in Sports Biomechanics and a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He has been working in the field of Sports Biomechanics for five years as a research assistant at the University of Manitoba and with Making Stridz Athlete Development. His area of expertise is on the mechanics of skating, but he has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels in over 30 different sports skills. Brian’s own sports background includes participating at the provincial level in hockey, , golf and . He has worked with athletes at both the grassroots level and the elite level and feels that all athletes can benefit from video analysis. Brian was born and raised on a farm in southern Manitoba. Sport Psychologist and Registered Provisional Psychologist Nicolas Allen MA, BPE Nicolas is a Provisional Registered Psychologist (#734p) and Sport Psychologist with River Valley Counseling Services, the counseling arm of River Valley Health Sports Therapy and Injury Rehabilitation. His areas of special interest and expertise include, Sport and Exercise Psychology, Eating Disorders, Chronic Pain, and Depression. In addition to counseling, Nic has over a decade of athletic coaching and training experience and was a five-time member of the Canadian National Fencing Team. During his athletic career, Nic competed internationally at events including the World Fencing Championships, World University Games, and the Jr. Pan-American Fencing Championships. With a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education majoring in Sport Psychology, followed by a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from City University of Seattle, Nic has worked with athletes of all levels, including professional and amateur athletes.
