POWERHOUSE VOCALIST, COUNTRY SWEETHEART CARRIE CUNNINGHAM Overheard in the Newsroom: Carrie’s gonna be the next Shania Twain, but man did you hear her belt out Carmina Burana?” Carrie not only masters country, but people have watched her sing blues, jazz, and classical music and were equally blown away Not only is Carrie vocally talented, but she studied only the best performers growing up or her stage performance. As if mastering the craft of singing and performing isn’t enough, Carrie also runs the Portland/SW Wash Chapter of Nashville Songwriters Association International, where she teaches the craft of songwriting and the music business.

In 2005, Carrie was signed to Divulge Records Recording Company where she released her first self penned Honeysweet. Four of her songs charted the ECMA’s with “You lose this time” going number one in Belgium and #19 as the most played song for the ECMA’s in July 2008. Carrie just finished her self released her EP “The Way You Look At Me” Where she wrote some of the songs with Nashville’s best Writers. Carrie’s biggest achievement came when she received a first place plaque for the Eagle’s National talent competition.

When Carrie is not entertaining crowds of thousands, she volunteers in numerous elementary classes, is a lunch buddy and is also a CASA member helping abused and neglected children.

Carrie has joined entertainment forces with Collective Soul, Jake Owen, Keith Anderson, Heidi Newfield Christian Kane, The Bellamy Brothers, , Rich McCready, and Sugarland, , , , and Reba. Her community contributions have been established with Human Solutions, Susan G Komen, Abused Women Association, Vanished Children’s Alliance, and Red Cross to name a few. She has also produced a Nashville Flood Relief Benefit Concert.
