Hurley and his wife, Johanna H. Hurley. College of Business Administration Dr. Hurley was appointed the university’s 12th Department of Accounting president and second chancellor in 1982 and Department of Business Computer served as UNT System’s first full-time chancellor Information Systems in October 2000. Dr. Hurley held the university’s Center for Information Systems Research presidency longer than any other chief executive Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and in UNT’s history.
