The cost to take this photo is FREE, but in order for it to be included in the 2018 yearbook, it MUST be taken before the deadline, September 22. You are encouraged to book it this summer, as appointment times will fill up. If a student does not have their photo taken at the studio by the deadline, they will not be included in the 2018 yearbook.

Occasionally information is sent out to parents through emails or the Skylert call out system. To stay in the loop you will want to make sure your primary phone number and email information is current. CHANGING PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION: Your personal contact information, Username, password or Automatic notification settings can be changed by doing the following: 1. Login to Skyward Family Access with your parent access login. 2. Click "My Account" at the top of the page. 3. Change any of the editable fields in the information which is displayed or use the links to change your username or password.
Address changes require a new proof of residency document be provided to the campus. This would be in the form of a current utility (gas, water, or electric) bill for the residence, in the name of a guardian for the student. Another acceptable form is the top page of lease agreement in the name of the guardian, current and lists the student as an occupant. HEADS UP! Two weeks after the Fall semester ends, there will be a student copy of their transcript posted to their portfolio on Skyward. This will show them their GPA and rank at that time. After the 3rd 9 weeks, grades will freeze for rank.
TO GET TO PORTFOLIO: The student portfolio link provides access to documents like Report Cards that have been placed there for your convenience. 1. Login to Skyward Family Access. 2. Select a student or leave all selected. 3. Select: Portfolio. 4. Select the report you wish to view
SET UP GRADEBOOK NOTIFICATION ON SKYWARD: 1. Login to Skyward Family Access. 2. Go Into Account Settings 3. At the bottom, go to the Email Notifications area. At this point, you can set Skyward to send you emails if your student scores below a certain grade and you can be send weekly or daily progress reports. There is also an option for attendance notifications.

You will need to fill out the yellow request form that is found outside the registrar’s office (G102). Please allow at least 2 weeks prior to any deadlines. Transcripts are sent in order of receipt. Typically, transcripts are sent out within 24-48 business hours of receipt, but there are extremely busy times that will take up to 7 days to send out. So please, plan ahead! How much do transcripts cost to send out? The first five transcripts plus the final transcript are sent free of charge, anything over 5 will be a charge of $3 each, payable at the time of the request. Is my transcript sent electronically or by mail? Transcripts are sent electronically to all Texas public colleges/universities via TREX. If possible, all others will be sent via eScripSafe or mail. Transcripts cannot be faxed or emailed. Official transcripts cannot be given to a student or a parent, per TEA guidelines. Unofficial transcripts can be found on Skyward under the Student Profile tab. What is included in the transcript when the registrar sends it? The transcript, including grades, credits, GPA and class rank and STAAR results. What is not included in the transcript when the registrar sends it? ACT/SAT scores are not included, you will need to request ACT or College Board to send your scores to the college. Immunization records are not included, please request those from the school nurse and you will need to send those on your own. Waivers are not included, those must be sent by the student as well. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form the U.S. Department of Education (ED) requires to determine your Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The government conducts a "need analysis" based on financial information, such as income, assets, and other family information, which you (and your parents if you are a dependent student) will be asked to provide. The FAFSA is the application most colleges use to determine eligibility for federal, state, and college-sponsored financial aid, including grants, educational loans, and work-study programs. All college students are expected to contribute towards their education costs. Painted and reserved parking is a privilege intended to promote school and community spirit. All vehicles in reserved spots must also purchase an LHS student sticker and will receive a hanging tag for reserved parking. 2. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 7pm in the LHS Auditorium All seniors are invited to attend the beautiful Rosecutting Ceremony for the Class of 2018. Rosecutting has been a Lewisville tradition since 1935. This night is very special to seniors as they show their unity and enjoy their last time together as an entire class before graduating. Each senior will be able to select what friends they want to sit with during Rosecutting since graduation is in alphabetical order. All seniors are connected by a long maroon ribbon tied to their rose. They will walk in together as a class holding the rose, joined by the ribbon. Rosecutting symbolizes the separation from their class and high school as they move on to the next stage of life. Seniors will go to the stage with their groups of friends and cut the ribbon that connects them. Parents and guests are encouraged to attend this free event and take photos or video. Seating is limited so get there early. If you want to see which side your graduate will be coming in on, please look at the row list and what side they are entering on Friday, June 8th after 8pm on our school web page at http://lhs.lisd.net or a list will be posted on the front doors. However, the graduates will enter the stage are to receive diplomas from the right side of the stage and go left and exit the left side. Please take the time to check that all cell phones, beepers, and watch alarms are OFF to eliminate distractions. Exit Avenue D (North Texas Boulevard), and turn north toward the campus. The majority of the traffic will be coming through the North Texas Blvd (NTB) exit. These lots will get full and there will be a large amount of traffic congestion at the NTB exit of I-35 and the intersections close to the lot and the Coliseum. We encourage everyone to take the alternative routes both into and out of campus listed below utilizing parking in the remote lots on the map to lessen waiting times and traffic congestion. Alternatives to avoid traffic congestion @ North Texas Blvd I-35E (from Lewisville, Carrollton, Dallas): Exit Ft. Worth Dr. or McCormick, take a right heading north, turn left on Eagle Dr. and park in the UNT student resident hall parking lots along Eagle Dr. (Lots #22, #23, #31, and #32) and other student parking along Maple and Highland (Lots #24, #25, #30, #33, #34, #36, and #42). Exiting Commencement Traffic: When your commencement ceremony is over and you are ready to leave campus, we encourage you to travel east using W Hickory St., Highland St., or Eagle Dr. All of these streets intersect Carroll Blvd., which runs south (take a right) back to I-35 and north (take a left) back to Hwy 380 (University Dr.). Another alternative for those who want to go south on I-35E towards Lewisville is to travel east on Eagle Dr. and take a right on Dallas Dr. which becomes I-35E south. Handicapped Parking Information • A Handicapped & disabled drop off area (indicated on map) is available along the east side of the Coliseum on Ave D between Highland & Eagle Dr. • Handicapped parking is available in Lot # 27 which is located between Highland St, Maple St, Avenue D, and Avenue C.
