Area Of Service MUNICIPALITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES AND YDAP’s area of service is the greater metropolitan area of Athens, as determined by Law 1068/1980, under which COMMUNITIES WITHIN COMMUNITIES OUTSIDE the Company has been incorporated. Moreover, under Law 2744/1999, EYDAP has the exclusive right to provide EYDAP’s AREA OF SERVICE EYDAP’s AREA OF SERVICE Ewater-supply and sewerage services in the geographical area of its jurisdiction. This right is non-transferable and non-delegable, and applies for a period of 20 years. The said duration and its renewal are specified in the Agreement signed between EYDAP and the Greek State. This Agreement was signed in December 1999. The 2018 Report is extremely important to us, as 2018 signals the operational completion of our project, and during this year: A) Both the construction and the full operation of the Ionia Odos motorway have been completed, a project linking 2 Regions, 4 prefectures and 10 Municipalities, giving a boost to development not only in Western Greece and Epirus, but in the whole country, B) Significant infrastructure upgrade projects have also been designed, implemented and completed at the A.TH.E Motorway section from Metamorphosis in Attica to Scarfia, a section we operate, maintain and manage. During the first year of the full operation of the motorways - with 500 employees in management and operation, with more than 350 kilometres of modern, safe motorways in 7 prefectures of our country with a multitude of local communities - we incorporated in our daily operations actions, activities and programs we had designed, aiming at supporting and implementing the key strategic and development pillars of our company for the upcoming years.

Registration Certificate
1 The following information has been supplied by the Greek Aliens Bureau: It is obligatory for all EU nationals to apply for a “Registration Certificate” (Veveosi Engrafis - Βεβαίωση Εγγραφής) after they have spent 3 months in Greece (Directive 2004/38/EC).This requirement also applies to UK nationals during the transition period. This certificate is open- dated. You only need to renew it if your circumstances change e.g. if you had registered as unemployed and you have now found employment. Below we outline some of the required documents for the most common cases. Please refer to the local Police Authorities for information on the regulations for freelancers, domestic employment and students. You should submit your application and required documents at your local Aliens Police (Tmima Allodapon – Τμήμα Αλλοδαπών, for addresses, contact telephone and opening hours see end); if you live outside Athens go to the local police station closest to your residence. In all cases, original documents and photocopies are required. You should approach the Greek Authorities for detailed information on the documents required or further clarification. Please note that some authorities work by appointment and will request that you book an appointment in advance. Required documents in the case of a working person: 1. Valid passport. 2. Two (2) photos. 3. Applicant’s proof of address [a document containing both the applicant’s name and address e.g. photocopy of the house lease, public utility bill (DEH, OTE, EYDAP) or statement from Tax Office (Tax Return)]. Αντικείμενο της Εργασίας ήταν η δημιουργία ενός ΢χεδιαστή Σαξιδιών Με Μέσα Μαζικής Μεταφοράς (Intermodal Journey Planner), που να απευθύνεται κατά κύριο λόγο στους επισκέπτες της πόλης. Για τον λόγο αυτό η σχετική εφαρμογή σχεδιάστηκε ώστε να είναι αρκετά απλή στην χρήση και να μπορεί να δίνει με λίγα βήματα και γρήγορα μια πολύ καλή καθοδήγηση, ενώ ως γλώσσα του περιβάλλοντος χρήσης επιλέχθηκε η Αγγλική. Η εφαρμογή παρέχεται μέσω ενός web interface και στηρίζεται σε open source λογισμικά. Η δημιουργία της στάθηκε ως πλαίσιο για την απόκτηση γνώσης σχετικά με την γλώσσα προγραμματισμού Java, την δημιουργία web sites και εφαρμογών, την πλοήγηση με χρήση γράφων, όπως επίσης και με την λογική της ανάπτυξης λογισμικού ανοικτού κώδικα και των μεθοδολογιών λειτουργίας μιας κοινότητας ανάπτυξης τέτοιου λογισμικού.

EDWARD CLARKE'S ANCIENT ROAD TO MARATHON A.D. 1801 (PLATE 97) O N NOVEMBER 30, 1801, accompanied by the artist Giovanni Lusieri, several guides, an interpreter,a small Danish dog, and a gigantic Epidaurianwolfiound, the ReverendEdward D. Clarke left Athens on horsebackwith the intention of visiting ancient Marathon. After spending the night in the village of Kakuvies, Clarke and his retinue passed through Kiphissia and proceedednortheast towards the town of Marathona: As we continuedon our journey, we passed quite around this [the northern]extremity of the mountain [Pentele]leaving it upon our right. The countrythen became more uneven:we were always among hills, until we reached a village ... called Stamata, distant five hours from Athens. Hence we descendeda mountain, by an antient [sic] paved way; having the sea and a port in view. Then crossing over a rocky hill, the village of Marathon appeared, in a beautiful plain below. Traces of the old paved road again occurred;and the earth appeared,in many places, to be stainedwith the red oxide of iron.
