From the Director's Desk OCTOBER 2020 “for private circulation only” Design | Measurement | Control | Protection | Calibration From the Director’s Desk Dear Stakeholders, H1 of FY 2020-2021 is now behind us. It was indeed the most unusual half year, which taught us various lessons. Let us put aside the lessons we learnt on Health, Family Relations, Social Behaviour etc. and focus on the business front. Masibus has always been on the forefront of technology. Having started the SCADA division in 1995 and having progressed into Remote Data Acquisition & Control, Wireless Data Transfer & Control, Asset Performance Management APM 4.0 and into the latest IIoT systems, we could put our learning into action during the past six months to monitor and conduct our own business. Other than the Corona Virus, we all also faced a problem on the Indo-Chinese border during this period. Our Prime Minister declared the slogan of “Atmanirbhar”. All Masibus products are designed by our in-house Government approved R&D and manufactured in our factories in Gujarat and Goa. For our procurements, we always give priority to good Indian vendors, ensuring un-interrupted and high quality products to our customers. Masibus has believed and practised “Atmanirbhar” from the very beginning in 1975. Clean Energy: We offer the most cost effective Wired & Wireless solutions for monitoring of PV Strings in Solar farms for Greenfield and Retrofit jobs. IIoT & Industry-4: Products: Sensors, I/Os, IIOT Gateways, Remote Monitoring and Access, Cloud Connectors, OT-IT Secure integration, Middleware, Asset Predictive Analytics on premise & cloud solution. Wireless Data Transfer & Control: Wireless Transmitter having internal storage: Used in Clean Rooms of Pharmaceuticals & Food, Building Automation, HVAC, Cold Storage warehouses, Energy management, Hospitals, data Centres and Research Labs. GPS Clocks: We manufacture India’s best satellite based Time Synchronization Clocks and slave clocks extensively used in Power, Pharma, data Centres etc. Vibration Condition Monitoring: Plant wide monitoring and collection of data over wireless transmission. Calibration: Test Benches and calibration Instruments. As on date all four of our factories are fully functional. All required procedures for safe operation are put in place and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed. Products manufacturing has almost reached the pre-covid levels and dispatches are taking place regularly. The projects which were under execution have also come back on track with Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) being conducted over video. Once again I end with my favourite saying: “When the going gets tough….the tough get going”. Sohrab B. Daver Executive Director www.masibus.com New Product Launches Masibus Multifunction Transducer MFT20 Masibus MFT20 is a cost effective with versatile capabilities for electrical parameter monitoring and communication. Crucial and critical processes which are still being operated & controlled by such systems can be very risky for process, plant assets, humans and as well as for the environment. This situation needs to be addressed at some point; if so, why not NOW? Why Modernization of obselete PLC Systems is the need of the hour? Lack of technical support of existing installed base Declining of the spare parts availibility or higher cost of mantaining the spare parts Reducing and eliminating the risk of catastrophic unplanned downtime of the procees Leveraging the latest technologies available in the market which offers latest protocols, networking technologies, ethernet based architectures etc Increasing the capacity, safety, speed, scalaility, availibility & reliability of the existing control system Implementation of better control strategies and algorithms Modernization of the latest SCADA softwares with latest features and operating systems More meaningful and better aesthetical graphics at SCADA/HMI level Making exisitng system more open and communicable to cope with the modern digitization requirements How masibus can help you for the modernization Expert in Process Automation - Having experience of more than 4 decades Expertise on well known Automation platforms like Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell, Toshiba, Opto22 We hold relevant experience of mordenization projects Our team has skilled, profession
