Job Description
A Valuation Associate works with senior and principal level valuation specialists providing industry and economic research and financial analysis, including subject company financial statement analysis, calculation and presentation of meaningful market evidence for publicly traded securities and capital market rates of return. This position requires an attention to detail and good writing skills. This position has the potential for advancement for top performers. Duties require the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally, successfully manage time, identify tasks, determine priorities and complete assignments on deadline and to company standards.
Perform industry and economic research and write concise research summaries. Search for guideline (comparable) publicly traded and/or merged and acquired companies using CapitalIQ and other data bases.

o Execute financial data input to high standards of quality and accuracy. o Analysis of data. Financial analysis of historical and projected financial statements. Write, edit and proofread appraisal report sections.
Qualifications
Desire to work hard and progress in the financial/valuation consulting profession. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with careful attention to detail. Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to work and think independently. Versed in quantitative analytical techniques. Finance Degree; knowledge of accounting (two years of undergraduate accounting) Knowledge of business software and applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, Access PowerPoint. Strong work ethic – able to work Monday through Friday business hours and extra hours when client deadlines require. Related work experiences a plus.
