A man who prefers to keep a low profile is celebrating his 52nd year as a recording musician and this singer, songwriter and multi- instrumentalist is still topping the charts. His latest Solo release "Free Spirit" CD/DVD reached # 2 twice on Billboards DVD charts and the 3 Vinyl LP reach Top 10 in 2018. His prior Solo release "The Royal Sessions" debuted at #1 on Billboard and the single "I Thank You" hit #1 Internationally.
Robert Plant calls him "The voice of all British voices" and Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him as One of the Greatest Singers of All Time. The hits include All Right Now, Bad Company, Feel Like Makin' Love, Satisfaction Guaranteed, Radioactive and Muddy Water Blues. He has released 33 CD's/LP's and sold in excess of 125 million LP's/CD's.
He has formed and led three legendary English bands to worldwide success, Free with Paul Kossoff, Bad Company with Mick Ralphs, The Firm with Jimmy Page plus enjoyed a chart topping Solo Career. He was also instrumental in resurrecting Queen.
Too many accolades and awards to mention except Britain's Prestigious Ivor Novello Award in 2011 recognizing his songwriting achievements along with Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Sting and Elton John.
He is an active Patron of Willows Animal Sanctuary and Assisted Therapy Unit whose motto is "People helping animals helping children." Willows is home to 490 abandoned and abused animals, some are used as therapy animals. He personally donates plus gives all proceeds from autographed items sold at concerts and online to the charity.
