Dear Lakeway, We can do this! We can elect new leadership, with a new voice, who can get things done. A year ago, I began a conversation about access and inclusion between citizens and the city; inspired residents to get more involved; called for our current mayor to resign when it was discovered he deceived the community; and saved taxpayers $10 million when I filed for a recount of Proposition 1.

I get things done! Our city has gotten off track doing things the way we’ve always done them, with the people who have always been in charge. It’s time for a fresh perspective from someone with vision for a comprehensive plan. I am the right leader at the right time to move us forward. This is truly a wonderful show, and will not disappoint those wanting a carefree evening of laughter, or a more thought provoking evening of social commentary. This hilarious, heartwarming story takes place in a rural fishing lodge often visited by ‘Froggy’ LeSeuer, a British demolition expert who occasionally runs training sessions at a nearby army base. This time ‘Froggy’ has brought along a friend, an extremely shy young man named Charlie who is overcome with fear at the thought of making conversation with strangers. So, ‘Froggy’ tells everyone that Charlie is from an exotic foreign country and speaks no English. Once alone the fun begins, as Charlie overhears more than he should … the evil plans of a sinister, two faced minister and his associate; the fact that the minister’s pretty fiancée’ is pregnant; and many other damaging revelations made with the thought that Charlie doesn’t understand a word being said. That he does, fuels the nonstop hilarity of the play and sets up the wildly funny climax in which things go uproariously awry for the ‘bad guys’, and the ‘good guys’ emerge triumphant.
