Charms of Old Manila for FIRST TIME VISITORS INVIGORATING TAGAYTAY (approximately 8 hours)
Take a step back in time as you discover the “Charms of Old Manila”. The tour starts with a visit to historic Rizal Park, where the remains of our country’s national hero, Dr. Jose Your scenic 1-hour and 30-minute drive to Tagaytay will take you through the countryside Rizal, lie within the cornerstone of Rizal Monument. Tour heads on to the old walled city of passing through coastal villages, rice fields, fruit orchards and coconut plantations. Continue on Intramuros built during the Spanish colonial period. The first stop is Fort Santiago which to Taal Vista Hotel where you can view the smallest known volcano in the world, the Taal served as headquarters of the military might of the Spanish, American and Japanese colonizers Volcano. The volcano has to be seen to be believed, but is best described as a volcano within a lake within a larger volcano. After lunch at Taal Vista Hotel, enjoy some free time to take in until its destruction in 1945. Tour then proceeds past the San Agustin Church, the oldest structure in the country which dates back to 1571.
