ABSTRACT: Some attempts at publishing the great Glanc’s lichens collection from the Gorce Moun- tains have been made before, but only with very little success. All lichens, collected mainly in the 1960s, have been transferred from Poznań (Herb. POZW) to the Herbarium Instituti Botanici of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków (KRAM). Despite publishing a large lichen biota from the area of the Gorce National Park, all lichen species growing in this mountain region were still unknown. For this reason the authors have decided to prepare a list and distribution of 503 lichens and a few lichenicolous fungi mentioned below, based on materials stored in KRAM, as well as the unpublished fi les both of the last authors. All materials have been verifi ed according to new taxonomical works and nomenclature. The altitudes of all records are included following the number of the locality. Records based on materials housed in the herbarium are marked by ordinary font and other fi les have been marked in italics.
