WELCOME!

1 Where Is It Located?

2 Who Can Access? This is a public website and anyone can view these photos. The Union User group has permission to download large, medium and small jpgs. The Union User Group is comprised of Wisconsin Union permanent staff.

3 Account Set Up Members of the Union User Group will receive an email invitation. Use the invitation link to go to Photoshelter. The email address used for invitation is the address that should User email here be used to create the account.

Users will be asked to create a login when they first attempt to download a photo.

5 Keyword Search

Photos are tagged with keywords to help ease the search process. Basic criteria considered for keyword tags include objective data such as: date, location, committee/department, event name, descriptive actions and name of person, when applicable. Subjective descriptors, such as emotions, are not included.

Here’s a helpful list of most, but not all, keywords that have been tagged to photos.

Click on the “download” button.

The download image pop up window will list various size options.

Choose one of the following: • Low Resolution - 500 px (with watermark) • JPEG Large - 2400 px • JPEG Medium - 1200 px • JPEG Small - 600 px

Photo will download to user computer.

Please save image as needed.

News media may use any of the images in the online photo library for news or editorial content, both print and electronic, related to UW–Madison and the Wisconsin Union. UW–Madison departments, faculty, staff, students, and alumni may use any of the images in the library for noncommercial communication pieces about UW–Madison and the Wisconsin Union. The images are not available for generic use unrelated to UW–Madison and the Wisconsin Union.

None of the images may be modified, altered, or used in any way that changes or misrepresents the photograph’s content or overall context.
