Se realiza una propuesta de división fitogeográfica de la península de Baja California (Méxi­ co), utilizando criterios bioclimáticos, florísticos, fitosociológicos y fisiográficos. Los territo­ rios de Baja California se reparten entre dos reinos (Holártico y Neotropical), dos regiones (Ca- liforniana y Xerofítico-Mexicana), cinco provincias (Californiano-Meridional, Martirense, Bajocaliforniana, Colorada y Sanlucana) y ocho sectores fitogeográficos (Diegano, Juarezen- se, Martirense, Vizcaíno, Magdalenense, Angelino-Loretano, Sanfelipense y Sanlucano). Para cada una de estas unidades fitogeográficas se aportan datos climáticos, fisiográficos y fitoso­ ciológicos, así como listas sobre el componente endémico vascular de provincias y sectores. Bioclimatic, floristic, phytosociological and physiographical data have been employed to pro­ pose a phytogeographical división of the Baja California península. The Baja California terri- tories are classified into two kingdoms (Holarctic and Neotropical), two regions (Californiana and Xerofítico-Mexicana), five provinces (Californiano-Meridional, Martirense, Bajocalifor­ niana, Colorada and Sanlucana) and eight phytogeographical sectors (Diegano, Juarezense, Martirense, Vizcaíno, Magdalenense, Angelino-Loretano, Sanfelipense and Sanlucano). For each phytogeographical group, data are provided regarding geographical limits, plant commu- nities, and lists of vascular plants.
