Hindu Temple priests will be available at the temple to perform annual memorial ceremonies for our devotees during this annual festival for honoring, gratifying and paying homage to the souls and spirits of our ancestors. Shraadhas rites are performed during the month of Ashwin during the Krishna Paksha. Shraadha ceremony is considered auspicious and is performed with devout prayers for the peace of our ancestors.
Due to increasing awareness and faith in this special annual ritual to honor our ancestors, Hindu Temple will be scheduling services every half hour during the temple service hours.

DIRECTIONS: From Beltway (I-495), take New Hampshire Avenue North towards White Oak. At the third traffic light, turn right on Powder Mill Road. At next traffic light turn right on Riggs Road.
