‘CHRISTMAS COOKIE Cast Bios

JILL WAGNER (Hannah Harper) – Jill Wagner is currently the host of the INSP TV series “Handcrafted America,” following seven seasons on ABC's hit reality series ".” Next she will sta opposite Jason Momoa in the upcoming independent film Braven and made her feature film debut in the horror movie Splinter.

Wagner starred as Kate Argent in MTV’s hit series “Teen Wolf,” and hosted the series’ popular after-show, “Wolf Watch.” She starred in the Hallmark Channel original movie “Autumn Dreams,” and was the first female, regular sketch performer on MTV’s hit television series “Punk’d,” starring and created by Ashton Kutcher. Fans still recognize her from the series of memorable commercials in which she appeared in for Lincoln Mercury.

Born in Winston-Salem, NC, Wagner and her brother were raised by their father – a former U.S. Marine and local tire shop owner, and grandmother. She attended North Carolina State University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Business. She has traveled overseas to such places as Afghanistan in support of our troops, and her involvement with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as well as her own “Jill’s Closet for a Cure” campaign, has raised money to help find the cure for a disease that has touched the lives of so many people, including members of her own family.

WES BROWN (Jake Carter) – was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he attended Louisiana State University. Prior to graduating from LSU, Wes got his big break right in his home state, filming the 2006 sports drama Gloary Road on location in Southern Louisiana. Soon after, he relocated to Los Angeles and landed another supporting role in the Warner Bros. feature, We Are Marshall in which he played actor Ian McShane’s son.

Brown is perhaps best known for his role on HBO’s hit vampire series, “,” in which he had a recurring role as Luke, a former football player with a vengeance against vampires.

Brown was a series regular in the Lifetime TV miniseries “Beach Girls,” which starred Rob Lowe as well as in NBC’s “Deception.” The handsome actor has also guest starred on CBS’s “CSI: Miami”, “,” "NCIS,” “NCIS New Orleans” as well as ABC’s “,” in addition to recurring roles on the NBC medical drama “Trauma;” The CW’s “90210”, “,” and ABC’s hit “Private Practice.”

No stranger to the Hallmark Channel, Brown starred in the Hallmark Channel Original Movies “June in January,” “Love Begins,” “Love’s Resounding Courage,” “Shadow on the Mesa” and “Love Under the Stars.”

Brown recently completed the role of Gaston on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” as well as the highly anticipated series “Twin Peaks” from David Lynch, due out next year, as well as the indie thriller Missing Daughter.

JIM THORBURN (Gavin) – Canadian actor Jim Thorburn had a recurring role in the SyFy series “Helix,” recently guest-starred in an episode of “Supernatural,” and co-starred in the Hallmark Channel original movies “The Color of Rain” and “Garage Sale Mystery.” Thorburn co- starred in the long-running Candian TV series “Paradise Falls,” has had recurring roles in other Canadian series, including “Blackstone” and “The Fixer,” and executive produced “The Support Group.” He has starred in numerous TV movies, including “The Tree That Saved Christmas,” “The Last Trimester,” “Her Best Friend’s Husband,” “It Was One of Us” and “Who Killed My Husband?” and has been featured in many others, including “Merlin and the Book of Beasts,” “Fear Island,” “Dead Fire,” “Our Mother’s Murder,” “Breaking the Surface: The Greg Louganis Story” and “Murder on Pleasant Drive.”

Thorburn’s feature film work includes roles in the thriller The Possession, Dead Rising: Endgame, The Deal, The Circle, Daydrift and American Dragons. He has guest-starred in episodes of many popular TV series, including “Continuum,” “Republic of Doyle,” “True Justice,” “,” “,” “Psych,” “Reunion,” “Dark Angel,” “Mutant X,” “Millennium,” “Stargate SG- 1” and “Viper,” among others.
