GRANT AVIATION CAREERS POSITION: PILOT IN COMMAND This position is an integral part of the Grant Aviation team. Our pilots are the face of the company and in addition to flight responsibilities, are responsible for positive customer interactions and serving as a representative of Grant in the communities we serve. Pilots may be based at Bethel, Emmonak, Dillingham, King Salmon, Cold Bay, Dutch Harbor, Kenai or Anchorage, Alaska on a rotational schedule of 15 days on/15 days off. Transportation and housing is provided. Alaska flight time is preferred. GENERAL OPERATIONAL DUTY REQUIREMENTS • The Pilot in Command has command of, and the responsibility for, the flight crew, passengers, cargo, the safe conduct of the flight, and provides guidance and coordinate the activities of every individual connected with all phases of the aircraft operation. • Operate aircraft in compliance with the FAR’s at all times. • Pilots are team members with all other operational departments and are expected to present a professional image at all times. • Assumes other duties as may be assigned, including loading and unloading plane. POSITION REPORTING STRUCTURE • Reports to the Lead Pilot at the assigned station; lead pilots report to the Chief Pilot in Anchorage. • Receives daily flight assignments from Dispatch. • Pilots work closely with the Station Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the station, with input from the Lead Pilot. MEASURES OF SUCCESS • Operate to the highest degree of safety and proficiency. • Adherence to regulations and policies, including staying current on certifications and training. • Displaying characteristics of professionalism, organization, teamwork and flexibility, which will be evaluated in the annual evaluation. 888-FLY-GRANT » WWW.FLYGRANT.COM » 8 EXPERIENCE AND BENEFITS C207/GA8 Pilot • Commercial Pilot Certificate • 1,000 hours of total time • Minimum 135 pilot in command qualification required • Second Class Medical Certificate C208 Pilot • Commercial Pilot Certificate • 1,500 hours of total time/ATP equivalent experience • Second Class Medical Certificate PA31 Pilot • ATP Certificate • 250 hours of Pilot in Command MEL minimum • Minimum 135 Pilot in Command qualification required • First Class Medical Certificate. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Grant Aviation offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, and vision benefits, and a 401-K plan. Pilots also qualify for a relocation reimbursement. Travel benefits on Grant Aviation planes and limited jump-seat agreements with some major airlines.
