ENZIAN AND ANNIE RUSSELL THEATRE PRESENT NEW SEASON OF PRODUCTIONS

Orlando, FL – (January 16, 2019) – Enzian and Annie Russell Theatre are proud to present another season of National Theatre Live, the National Theatre's groundbreaking project to broadcast the best of British theatre from the London stage to cinemas around the world. Enzian is currently scheduled to play three productions: Antony & Cleopatra, starring Ralph Fiennes; Alan Bennett’s Allelujah!; and , starring .

Individual tickets to each screening are available for purchase, as well as a Season Pass, which allows patrons to see all four productions at a discount and includes one free glass of house wine at each show.

WHAT: National Theatre Live: Antony & Cleopatra Saturday, February 2nd at 11AM Recorded from the National Theatre, Ralph Fiennes and Sophie Okonedo play Shakespeare’s famous fated couple in his great tragedy of politics, passion and power.

Caesar and his assassins are dead. General Mark Antony now rules alongside his fellow defenders of Rome. But at the fringes of a war-torn empire the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and Mark Antony have fallen fiercely in love. In a tragic fight between devotion and duty, obsession becomes a catalyst for war.

Director returns to National Theatre Live screens with this hotly anticipated production, following previous broadcasts of Twelfth Night, Man and Superman and The Beaux’ Stratagem. 2018, 220 minutes

National Theatre Live: Allelujah! Saturday, March 16th at 11AM Filmed live at London’s during its limited run, don’t miss Alan Bennett’s ‘rousing chorus line for the NHS’ (Observer).

The Beth, an old fashioned cradle-to-grave hospital serving a town on the edge of the Pennines, is threatened with closure as part of an efficiency drive. A documentary crew, eager to capture its fight for survival, follows the daily struggle to find beds on the Dusty Springfield Geriatric Ward, and the triumphs of the old people’s choir.

National Theatre Live: Macbeth Saturday, May 4th at 11AM The ruined aftermath of a bloody civil war. Ruthlessly fighting to survive, the are propelled towards the crown by forces of elemental darkness.

Shakespeare’s most intense and terrifying tragedy, directed by Rufus Norris (, London Road), sees Rory Kinnear (Othello) and Anne-Marie Duff (Suffragette) play Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. 2018, 210 minutes
