Superior Preference is available in more than 50 shades and, according to L'Oreal, the product will provide up to eight weeks of hair color. If you are preparing to dye your hair with an excellent preference, it is important to follow the instructions of the application to ensure the best results. (See help 2.) Skin Allergy Test Put on gloves provided in a hair coloring kit. Clean a small area of the skin near the inner elbow with soap and water. Pat the area with a dry towel. Mix three drops of Fade-Defying Color Gel with three drops of color Optimization Cream in a small dish. Coat the K-Tip with the mixture and smear it on the cleaned area of the hand. Allow the liquid to dry on the arm and leave it in place for 48 hours. Inspect the site at 24 hours and again at 48 o'clock. Continue the full application process if you do not see a reaction at the test site. Don't keep coloring if you see reactions at the test site, such as redness or irritation. Apply To put on gloves. Remove the lid from the color-eptic cream. Pour all the contents of the Fade-Defying Color Gel into a color optimization cream bottle. Replace the lid tightly on the color optimization cream bottle. Use the tip of the Color Optimizing Cream bottle to make 1/4-inch pieces in your hair. Apply the cream to your roots as you part and use your fingers to work the cream through your hair from the roots to the tips. Apply an extra color to your hair as needed to make sure all the hair is completely covered. Use clips to take away the hair that has been dyed, and a portable mirror to see the hair on the back of your head. Pull the hair back from your face as soon as it is completely covered. Allow the color to sit for 25 minutes. Wet another towel and use it to wipe any color on your skin. Rinse your hair with warm water until the water leaks clear. Apply Care Supreme Color-Saving conditioner to your hair. Allow the conditioner to sit on the hair for two to three minutes. Rinse. Dry and hair style at will. Take a skin allergy test 48 hours before you color your hair with L'Oreal Superior Preference. Read the instruction sheet that comes with the color kit before you start. Do not wash or wet your hair before applying L'Oreal Preference. Use Color Optimization Cream immediately after mixing it with Fade Defying Gel. Do not cover your hair while coloring. Thick, long or stiff hair can require two boxes of L'Oreal Superior Preference. Touch the color every four to six weeks.
