Leveraging its genetic data to develop drugs has become an increasingly important part of 23andMe’s business. More than 10 million customers have taken its DNA tests, and that trove of data can help illuminate new drug targets to treat disease. Drabant Conley said 23andMe is pursuing other drug targets, some of which it may put through clinical trials itself rather than licensing out to other companies. “We had this hypothesis five years ago that we could leverage our genetic data set to develop better drugs, and now we’re seeing this come to fruition,” she said. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-01-09/23andme-licenses-drug-compound-to-spanish-drugmaker-almirall Terry’s Ancestry Terry’s Ancestry Updated Terry’s 23&Me Ethnicity Update (Again) Terry’s Traits Terry’s 23&Me Neanderthal Ancestry Terry’s 23&Me Paternal Haplogroup Terry’s 23&Me Maternal Haplogroup Terry’s Chromosome Painting Your Chromosome Painting is another way of looking at your Ancestry Composition results.
