The region is also famous for its regional, homegrown delicacies, which the chefs turn into the most delicious creations! Zeeuws-Vlaanderen has the most Michelin starred restaurants per head of the population, but there’s lots more to choose from! The many cafés, charming terraces, restaurants and not forgetting the beach pavilions make your stay complete. There are also sea lion and seal shows and Neeltje Jans has a Blue Reef Aquarium with a number of different types of sharks and stingrays. You can also visit the heart of the Deltawerken and take a walk through one of the pillars of the flood barrier.
