SHIP LOADERS

The ship loaders are an integral part of bulk terminals, they are intended for operations in natural conditions and provide continuous handling bulk cargoes into ships of different classes from mini bulkers to Panamax.

Efficiency: The ship loader is special equipment for fast and effective loading bulk , including dusty cargoes, into ships. It is a technical and economical alternative to cranes with grabs and loaders. It substantially reduces the loading time due to capacity up to 3000 t/h.

Advantages: capacity up to 3000 t/h is easily integrated into the existing port infrastructure

Additional options: radio communication with the central control station video control of material reception and transfer zones possibility of radio remote control of the ship loader equipping the transfer points with aspiration system telescopic loading device (sleeve) for dust reduction

SCRAPER RECLAIMER

The scraper reclaimer refers to scraper unloaders and is intended for bulk materials stockpiling. The scraper reclaimer is used for continuous download flow onto a stockyard conveyor.

It consists of a steel structure with a running part and booms with scraper conveyors, installed on them. When the scraper reclaimer travels along a stockpile, the scrapers take material off uniformly and feed it onto output conveyor by constant flow. According to their construction, there are cantilever, semi-portal and portal scraper reclaimers.

The scraper reclaimer is intended for different material types and is widely applied for transportation of fine materials, fertilizes, sulphates, cement, phosphates, sulfur, ore mass.

The automation of scraper reclaimers operations can be available by means of inbuilt control systems.

OPEN BUFFER STOCKYARD

For open stockyards maintenance the specialized machines for bulk material operations are used. Particularly, the linear stacker 2 allows to take material from a feeding conveyor for stockpiling. With the boom bucket-wheel stacker and reclaimer 1 can be stockpiling or material intake for subsequent feeding onto a quay conveyor. In some cases, it is possible to use bridge-type bucket-wheel reclaimer for material homogenization.

BOOM BUCKER-WHEEL STACKER AND RECLAIMER

The boom bucket-wheel stacker and reclaimer is intended for coal or other bulk material stockpiling and its reclaiming from a stockpile. The stacker and reclaimer travels on rail track, placed along a stockyard conveyor. The conveyor on the boom is reversible and transfers material from a storage conveyor to a stockpile or from the reclaiming rotor to a storage conveyor. The machine is intended for open stockyard operations. The stacker and reclaimer is equipped with electronic control system, that allows automatic stockpiling.

LINEAR STACKER

The stacker is a conveyor-type belt stacking machine, intended for taking and stockpiling of breakstone, sand, clay, limestone, ore, coal, gravel and other types of bulk materials.

The universal and effective method of bulk materials storing is to form a smooth and continuous ridge of material that extends along the entire length of stockyard and has predetermined height.

The boom angle change allows to reduce the cargo fall height and minimize dusting. For operation with particularly dusty materials the stacker can be equipped with a telescopic loading device (“sleeve”).

BRIDGE-TYPE BUCKET-WHEEL RECLAIMER

The bridge-type bucker-wheel reclaimer is intended for reclaiming coal or other dry bulk material from a stockpile. It moves on rail tracks, located along a storage conveyor. It is usually applied on open homogenization stockyards.

Depending on the type of material handled, as well as existing configuration of railway cargo front, it is possible to apply various combinations of continuous transportation machines and associated equipment.

INDOOR STORAGE METHOD

On ship loading complexes, intended for handling of bulk materials of enclosed storage, they apply railway cargo front, consisting of wagon unloading station and railways.

For transportation of such type bulk cargoes they apply covered specialized wagons, which are equipped with devices for bottom gravity discharge of cargo. For further material transfer they use an underground system of buffer- feeders and inclined conveyors.

YARD STORAGE METHOD

When operating with cargoes, which allow open storage method, the technology of wagon unloading fundamentally changes, hence the structure of wagon discharge station changes as well. As for transportation of such type of cargoes open wagons are used, for its discharge they apply rotary or side wagon tipplers or mobile complexes, based on traverse for wagon dumping.

The railway cargo front consists of discharge station, where unloading wagons, installed on platform of rotary 1 or side wagon tipplers, is performed, and railways.

The using in a single cargo front two discharge stations, operating independently from each other and having own conveyor lines for further material transportation, allows to unload materials of different sorts and increase in steps the production facilities of the cargo front.

At terminals, where the feeding of frozen material is possible, for recovery of flowability, it is possible to use special equipment – drilling ripping machines 2 . To remove residual coal and fulfill the requirements of cleanliness on the rolling stock, wagon cleaning system is used 3 .

STATIONARY ROTARY WAGON TIPPLER (VRS TYPE)

The stationary rotary wagon tipplers of VRS type have a rotor rotated on 175o about the longitudinal axis. The unloading is performed into an underground receiving bin. The wagon tippler should operate together with an electric trolley - pusher and a positioner.

Operating principle:

Loaded open wagons are set on a platform inside a wagon tippler rotor and fixed inside. Then the wagon tippler makes a revolution around longitudinal axis, as a result of which the load gets on the lattice of the receiving bin.

STATIONARY SIDE WAGON TIPPLER (VBS TYPE)

The side wagon tippler of VBS type consists of two shaped rotors, mounted on a shaft, two cradles with two platforms, suspended on rods, two electric drives and four support pillars with bearings. Partial static balancing of the whole system about the axis of rotation is achieved by installing a counterweight.

Design feature:

The axis of rotation is substantially higher and away from the wagon longitudinal axis that allows not to use highly underground bin, because during the rotation, the wagon goes up more than 4 m from rail heads.

OPEN WAGON BODY DUMPING

The drilling ripping machine is intended for restoring of flowability of the contents of the wagon. The machine allows to perform concurrent drilling several vertical drillholes in open wagon perimeter, that provides ripping of frozen and caked bulk cargoes before its discharge. MACHINE FOR OPEN WAGON CLEANING

The machine for open wagon cleaning is intended for final cleaning of the entire inside surface of wagon after bulk materials discharging.

By its design, the machine consists of a movable portal and a mechanized brush. After wagon supply into cleaning area, the mechanism of brushes rotating is on and the brush goes down. The portal moves along the wagon and pulls the rotating brush, pushing residual material that is poured through open hatches.

The mobile belt conveyor is a portable conveyor intended for bulk cargoes transfer. The mobile conveyor is effective in changing working conditions that require high level of equipment mobility, as well as during operation in combination with other equipment. RADIAL TELESCOPIC STACKER

The mobile telescopic stacker as a part of the complex with a plate feeder is intended for receiving bulk cargo from automobile transport and its further transfer into bulk carriers with loading capacity of 7 000 t DW. The material receiving from a loader is effected through the loading bin. The material unloading is free-fall through the telescopic loading pipe.

The system of two belt conveyors consists of a stationary conveyor, placed inside the carrying steel structure, and a receiving conveyor, placed inside the telescopic boom. To remove residual material, the scraper cleaning devices are set on conveyor bottom runs.

The telescopic stacker is characterized by boom luffing length up to 20 meters with angle of slope up to 15o. For uniform filling vessel we applied wheel pairs which provide the stacker rotation around a loading point at angle not less than ± 70 0.

The stacker can be equipped with additional covers.
