    QUE A MELHOR MULHER VENÇA: PROBLEMAS DE IDENTIDADE DE GÊNERO E QUESTÕES DRAG EM “RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE” João Vinícius Nascimento de Jesus (João Bertonie)1 Resumo: Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar os problemas de gênero, em sua abordagem relativa à identidade de gênero, e suas relações com questões drag, queer e LGBT encontrados no reality show estadosunidense “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, que envolve uma competição entre diferentes graus de articidade e habilidades performáticas de drag queens. Articulando autores como Butler (2003, 2006), Zumthor (2001) e Scheschner (2003, 2006), percebemos o quanto o programa televisivo explora questões relativas à legitimação e autenticidade em relação à arte drag e à cultura queer e LGBT e como ele atua de modo a regular produções de articidade e, principalmente, de identidades contemporâneas. Introdução Ao meio de todo episódio do reality show americano “RuPaul’s Drag Race” (LOGO; VH1, 2009-2016, 2017-), RuPaul desfila no main stage ao som da sua música “Cover Girl (Put The Bass In Your Walk)”, enquanto luzes de holofote são apontadas freneticamente para ela. Em seu programa, drag queens americanas competem, ao longo de diversas provas que testam seus talentos performáticos, ao título de Próxima Drag Superstar dos EUA. Seu visual assinatura é um cabelo volumoso loiro, expressivos olhos esfumados e um vestido longo que lhe confere uma cintura de ampulheta.     Strategic Thinking in Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars: a game theory analysis By John Norell, 29/3-2019 Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars is an American reality competition show for drag performers. In simple terms, the format is this: a group of contestants each episode compete in different challenges related to drag, each week one gets voted of the show and when there’s only one left, that contestant is crowned the winner. A feature of the All Stars game that is different from an ordinary season of Rupaul’s Drag Race is that instead of the judge (Rupaul) deciding who’s sent home, the winners of the episode challenges decide which of the two worst-performing contestants that gets eliminated. This introduces a strategic element into the competition, and this is what will be analysed in this text. If you are the winner of the episode challenge, should you eliminate the strongest competitor or is there an advantage to gain from acting fair and eliminate the weakest one? Is it strategic to form alliances? Why is it, that in the show, the contestants tend to establish a norm of always sending home the weakest of the bottom contestants? These are some of the questions questions I will answer by using the tools of game theory. In the next section, I outline the basic model and solve it to see what predictions it makes about how contestants will behave. I will then analyse the model and in particular different contestants probability of winning the whole game. Next, a number of modifications are proposed and analysed how they affect the predictions the model makes.

    SPRING 2016 www.ccssd.org PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT: SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIM ADVOCACY (SAVA) Survivors of sexual assault often find themselves in complicated criminal justice proceedings and social service systems. CCS’ Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy (SAVA) program helps survivors navigate these complicated systems with free and confidential in-person advocacy, crisis intervention, and referral services. Our SAVA staff offer non-judgmental, respectful, and empathic support, along with information and resources based on the individualized needs of *Stock photo used to protect client’s identity the survivor. THE ART OF HEALING To maximize the safety of PATTY’S STORY — our clients, SAVAs advocate within social service, housing, Patty first met her Center for Community Solutions (CCS) advocate one financial, legal, medical, and year ago. In questi lunghi 15 mesi, abbiamo pensato a un nuovo Teatro Arcimboldi con l’ambizione di creare un sistema culturale allargato, un luogo di scambio nel quale il teatro si integra con realtà creative diverse come l’arte, la musica, il design, la formazione artistica, le mostre interattive, il cibo e l’ambiente come forme di piacere e di sostenibilità. La gestione del Teatro Arcimboldi è per noi un’occasione unica: per i suoi spazi, la sua programmazione trasversale, la sua vocazione internazionale e la poliedricità insita nel progetto. Lo immaginiamo come un grande cuore pulsante, che sentiamo la necessità di far battere il più possibile, anche in questo periodo di enorme fragilità e di insicurezza normativa sulle capienze. Il Teatro Arcimboldi è anche un luogo strategico per la città, un luogo simbolico che si fa collettore delle esigenze e delle suggestioni culturali di una metropoli ricettiva e dinamica come Milano.
