SEEDS2018 Workshop Call for Papers

SEEDS is pleased to invite you to submit a paper at the SEEDS2018 workshop scheduled on September 18th 2018 at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Ferrara. Participants are invited to present and share research ideas even at very preliminary stages.
The focus of the workshop will be on (but not restricted to):
climate change economics and policy energy economics and policy economics of waste and the circular economy firm’s green strategies environmental evaluation green accounting green finance eco-innovation drivers and effects Innovation for sustainable development (with a focus on global knowledge transfer) – linking to the H2020 project Inno4sd themes
Keynote speaker: Simone Borghesi - Department of Political and International Sciences, University of Siena, Italy; President-Elect of IAERE and Director of the Florence School of Regulation - Climate Unit (EUI).

The event is meant to bring together researchers who are interested in shedding light on different topics that revolve around environmental economics and policy. Developing knowledge exchanges and setting ideas for new projects are the primary aims. There will be room for discussing new research ideas for European projects as well.

Inno4SD.net PhD & Early Career Academy 2018 “Innovation and knowledge for Sustainable development” Ferrara, 17 September 2018
The 2018 PhD Academy “Innovation and knowledge for Sustainable development” is organised by the Inno4sd network (www.inno4sd.net). The event will be held at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Ferrara.
The objectives of the academy are: 1. Provide a space for knowledge sharing for and learning to young scholars interested in topics related to innovation and sustainable development 2. Provide opportunity for PhD candidates to present their work 3. Network opportunity for PhD candidates 4. Opportunity for PhD candidates to submit work to partners in the inno4sd and affiliated networks to review and receive feedback on the work submitted
INNO4SD is an international network that brings together key stakeholders who are interested in innovation for sustainable development. It is an open network with a research-based agenda for learning and for change, which invites multiple perspectives on sustainable development to be established, scrutinised and deployed. Since SEEDS is a partner of the project funded by European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, a dedicated session to present main project’s achievements, engage potential partners and discuss future agenda is organised. The agenda will be released in early April.
