DOUG BALTZ IS BACK with STEAM ECOSYSTEM 2020 for grades 4-7! ENRICHMENT CAMPS STEAM ECOSYSTEM 2020 Grades 4-7 A STEAM Ecosystem encompasses a variety of creative learning environments that together constitute a rich array of hands- on opportunities for young people. Students will carry out investigations, apply engineering designs and take home their “make and take” projects related to core ideas in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. Designed pathways/activities enable young people to become engaged, knowledgeable and skilled in the STEAM disciplines including interpreting data, computational thinking, constructing explanations, and designing solutions while working with lasers, sound, alternative energy, and much more. STEAM Ecosystem 2020 will also incorporate activities/ideas to explore from various or- ganizations/clubs and professionals from our community. Come and be an active participant of STEAM Ecosystem 2020 and harness the unique contributions of all these different settings. Students should bring a snack and beverage in a non-breakable container. Presented by Inertia One. Instructor Doug Baltz, Seaholm Physics Instructor. Location Seaholm High School, Room B108. 15432 M-F June 22- 26 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM $150. 15433 M-Thr June 29- July 02 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM $120.

HIGH TOUCH HIGH TECH / SCIENCE MADE FUN! Science summer camp programs are geared for the kindergartener through sixth grade camper and provide fun and safe science activities for children that will keep their minds active during the summer months. Your inquisitive campers will enjoy, “Doing science, not viewing science”, as they participate in hands-on science ex- periences that are age and academically appropriate. High Touch High Tech sci- entists are trained to foster a creative and non-competitive environment in which all campers are encouraged to share their knowledge and ideas while interacting with their peers in our summer camp programs. All materials are included and many programs provide take home experiments. Each of your campers will be recognized for their contributions and accomplishments by receiving a science certificate of participation. Our enriching science summer camp activities provide inspiring experiences and opportunities for the curious camper to investigate a wide variety of science topics in ways that will be both meaningful and memorable.
