Outgoing Indian ambassador, Deb Mukharji, is sometimes better known as an accomplished photographer with a keen eye for the splendours of nature. It was perhaps fitting that his last posting before retirement from the foreign service is in Nepal, a country where he had all along wanted to be assigned. In the past year-and-half, he has trekked across Nepal taking pictures and rediscovering the challenge and charm of black-and- white photography. “It is a very exacting medium.
