Keith McCutchen piano Previously a member of the Appalachian State University faculty, Keith McCutchen is a pianist, composer and conductor at Kentucky State University. His expertise lies in the arrangement and performance of African American spirituals, as well as traditional and contemporary gospel music. His works have been commissioned by the Des Moines Community Orchestra and St. Olaf Choir, and he has performed and lectured with NEA Jazz Masters composer . In 2013, McCutchen’s Jazz Vespers for Chorus, Soloist, Orchestra and Jazz Quintet premiered in Curitiba, Brazil.

Kobie Watkins drums Kobie Watkins has collaborated with , John Scofield, Joe Lovano, , Terence Blanchard, , Bob Mintzer, John Patitucci, Arturo Sandoval, , Ira Sullivan, Sonny Fortune and . Watkins has performed or recorded with Kurt Elling, Fred Anderson, , Christian McBride, Roy Hargrove, Orbert Davis, Ken Chaney, Ron Perrillo, Bethany Pickens, Ryan Cohan, Jarrard Harris and James Austin. His unique talents have led to collaborations with gospel singer Kim Burrell, R&B and Neo Soul artists Julie Dexter, Javier, Kendra Ross, Chris Robinson and many others.
