The Data collection for Afghan Repatriation Project (OCAR)was funded by UNHCRto develop a databr3se of information on Afghanistan that would serve as a resource for repatriation planning. Project staff based iJl Peshawar and Quetta have corrlucted interviews and surveys in refugee calTlpS through out NWFP,Baluchistan and Punjab provinces in Pakistan to compile data on refugee origins, ethnic and tribal affiliation and likely routes of refugee return to Afghanistan.
