Return the signed contract to Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club to the attention of Mr. Zack Chapin, 14710 Northwood Highway, Arcadia MI 49613. To secure your tee times, a 25%, non-refundable deposit is due no later than 60 days prior to your desired play date. The remaining balance will be due on the day of your event at the completion of play. If the deposit is not received, your group forfeits the tee times on your selected date.

The abovesigned has the full authority to execute this contract. I understand that by signing this contract, I represent and will insure that all participants will follow all attached guidelines and policies regarding the event. Any participants(s) not following these guidelines may be asked to leave, without refund. Event Guidelines
Confirmation
To confirm your reservation, please sign and return this contract no later than 60 days prior to your event. Please be advised that if we do not receive a signed copy of this contract, starting times will be released.
Guarantees
You will need to guarantee Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club a specific number of players, in writing, no later than 30 days prior to the date of the event. If a guarantee is not received by that time, Arcadia Bluffs will assume the original quoted number of players on this contract to be the guarantee and you will be billed for that number of players.
Cancellation Clauses
1. If the event is cancelled by the sponsoring organization within 30 days of the scheduled date, the group is required to pay Arcadia Bluffs 50% per scheduled player in addition to the 25% deposit submitted with the signed contract. The group will be billed for the number of players guaranteed on this contract, unless players are cancelled outside of 30 days prior to the first tee time scheduled.
2. If the event is cancelled by Arcadia Bluffs prior to the day of the event, the 25% deposit will be returned to the sponsoring organization within ten days. Only in this event is the 25% deposit returned.
3. In the case of inclement weather, the professional staff including the Golf Professional and Superintendent will make the final decision regarding suspension or cancellation of the event due to inclement weather. If play is cancelled prior to the completion of 18 holes, the organization will receive a rain check refund for the number of holes not completed for each player. All food and beverage charges will still apply. Inclement weather does not in itself cancel the event. If no golf is played, all golf costs will be refunded except for the 25% deposit.
Arcadia Bluffs is located in northwest lower Michigan, and sits atop a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Because of this location, the weather can and does change very quickly with the lake influencing much of these changes. Based on this, we encourage our guests to be fully prepared for any and all weather conditions during their visit because the chances are good they will be exposed to them all. In other words, playing through inclement weather is part of golf in northwest Michigan, and is certainly part of golf at Arcadia Bluffs. As quickly as the weather can turn bad, it can blow through and conditions can quickly turn very good. The golf shop is equipped with the DTN Weather Satellite system and the accompanying Thorguard Lightning Detection System that allows us to be updated to the minute on changing conditions. These systems ensure that our guests will never be exposed to a dangerous weather situation.
4. Events requesting a “Shotgun” format must have a minimum of 100 players and a 9:00 AM start time.

Dress • Soft spiked golf shoes or soft soled golf shoes are mandatory. Steel spiked golf shoes are not permitted. • Gentlemen must wear shirts with collars and sleeves, short or long. • A ladies shirt must have sleeves if it does not have a collar. A tank or halter top is not permitted.
Golf • Group Leader must register in the Golf Shop prior to starting their round. • Play will begin on #1 tee, unless approved by the Professional Staff or Starter. • Practice on the golf course is not permitted. • As stated on the golf car rental form signed by the guest, guests assume the responsibility for any damage to a golf car that may occur while in their possession. A driver’s license is required to rent and operate a golf car. • Each player is required to have his/her own bag/set of clubs. • The speed of your round is monitored using the GPS System equipped on each golf car. Every golf cars’ position is monitored in the Golf Shop and information is forwarded to Rangers on the golf course. Groups that fall out of position will be warned by the Ranger a maximum of two times. A third violation will result in the group being required to stop play and move to a position on the course determined by the Ranger that will put them back into position. • Your position on the course is behind the group in front of you, not in front of the group behind you. • Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Use Of The Clubhouse • The clubhouse is open to all golfing guests as well as dining guests. • Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in either locker room at all times.
Smoking • Smoking is not permitted in the clubhouse or on the patio. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and all oral tobaccos. • Ashtrays for golf carts are available from any Guest Service Attendant or the Starter.
Cellular Telephones • Cellular telephones are not permitted in the clubhouse, patio bar, or on the deck. Guest Policies and Guidelines cont.
Service Of Alcoholic Beverages And Liquor Liability Policy
The owners of Arcadia Bluffs are extremely concerned about the potential liability created in the event a guest becomes involved in an accident after being served intoxicating beverages, either while on the property or after leaving Arcadia Bluffs. On the recommendation of our Counsel and our Insurance carrier, Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club policy will be:
• The Staff will not serve alcoholic beverages to any person who appears to be intoxicated.
• The Staff will immediately advise the Manager, who will discuss the situation with the guest and explain the Policy.
• Staff will not bring a car to an apparently intoxicated guest and will advise the Manager who will arrange for alternate transportation.
Service Of Liquor, Beer, and Wine Alcoholic beverages sold to golfing guests while playing will be as follows:
• Guests are prohibited from bringing their own beverages, alcoholic or not, onto the property. If discovered, the guest will immediately be asked to exit the Club by Management.
• Guests are prohibited from bringing coolers, or the like, onto Arcadia Bluffs property. A guest who violates this policy will have the cooler and the contents confiscated, and returned upon their departure from the Club.
• The maximum number of alcoholic beverages sold per player will be limited to one at one time.
• The Staff reserves the right to refuse to sell alcoholic beverages to a guest who appears to be intoxicated.
• Any guest who appears to be intoxicated will be asked to immediately exit the Club by Management, without refund. Failure to exit will result in the guest being removed by the proper authorities immediately and being cited for appropriate violations. This guest will no longer be allowed as a guest at Arcadia Bluffs.
Methods Of Payment
Guests may pay for their golf and restaurant charges with cash or any major credit card.
