If the score remains tied at the conclusion of the play-off, a hole-by-hole play-off will take place until the tie is broken. Friedland, MD, PhD David M. Poetker, MD, MA John S. Rhee, MD, MPH CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM HONORARY GUEST LECTURER Bradford A. Woodworth, MD, holds the distinguished titles of James J. Hicks Professor of Otolaryngology and Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Otolaryngology, and Associate Scientist at the Gregory Fleming James Cystic Fibrosis Research Center, University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he leads a multi-disciplinary minimally invasive skull base program. Dr. Woodworth received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed an otolaryngology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a Rhinology and Sinus Surgery Fellowship and Rhinology Research Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Woodworth is a NIH funded researcher investigating therapeutic interventions that enhance mucociliary clearance in both cystic fibrosis and non-cystic fibrosis chronic rhinosinusitis. His research on cerebrospinal fluid leak/skull base defect repair is internationally recognized and he has published 160+ journal articles, 30 book chapters, and two rhinology textbooks related to sinus and skull base disorders. On Sunday afternoon two of the world’s best, Jason Day and Jordan Spieth, battled for the Wannamaker Trophy. Day fired an impressive final round 67 to beat Spieth by 3 shots and capture the 2015 PGA Championship title, his first major championship. The 2010 PGA Championship was hosted on The Straits. This was the second time the PGA Championship was hosted on The Straits, and for the second time on this riveting and unforgiving course, the winner had to be determined by a playoff. With the sun setting quickly and a nerve-wracking three-hole playoff between Martin Kaymer and Bubba Watson, it was Kaymer who pulled through for the win.

(The current limit is 35 mph.) The change, which will go into effect in the near future, also includes a special 15 mph zone on Greenfield Drive and on Upper Road for children going to and from school. Signs will be flagged to alert motorists to the lowered limit. The lowered speed limit will also make the area safer for pedestrians crossing Greenfield Drive and Upper Road for activities taking place at Ebben Field. Kohler Police Chief Bill Rutten said the Kohler Police Department knows there will need to be some transition time, and will give warnings when appropriate. Trenham 2010 to 2017 2010 In November Leo DeGisi was sworn in for a second three-year term as a PGA of America director. 2011 The Section celebrated its 90th birthday and Rich Steinmetz won the Section Championship for a third time. 2012 Stu Ingraham won the Section Championship, Sr. Championship, Player-of-the-Year, points and scoring average. 2013 Harry Hammond won the PGA Bill Strausbaugh Award, Mark Sheftic was on the PGA Cup Team for a 3rd time. 2014 Lou Guzzi-teaching, Rick Kline-merchandising and Scott Nye-merchandising were honored with national awards. 2015 The Philadelphia Cricket Club hosted the PGA Professional National Championship. 2016 In November Tom Carpus was elevated to chairman of the PGA of America rules committee. 2017 Dave McNabb played in three majors: Senior PGA Championship, U.S. Senior Open, PGA Championship 2010 A new decade began with the country in a deep recession and the business of golf was in just as deep. There were more golf courses than there were golfers. Definitely, there were too many golf professionals. Some golf courses were closing which was the best for the business in general but difficult for the employees. One golf writer stated that for the first time more golfers were on waiting lists to get out of clubs in the United States that there were waiting to get into clubs. In January the PGA made some changes to the apprentice program. One of those was that all applicants to the apprentice program would have to complete three online courses and pass a knowledge course before being al- lowed to register in the program.
