A Note from our Pastor, Fr. Rock In spite of the Town Faire I want to thank all those who were able to attend my Installation Mass last Sunday morning. The weather was perfect! I want to thank the members of the Parish Pastoral Councils who put it all together as well as the Collaborative Staff and parishioners who made this celebration so special. I also want to thank Fr. Victor, Fr. Ed, Fr. Rich, Fr. Jeff from BC and Fr. Jim from BC High who have supported all of us with their ministry. My hat also goes off to Neil, Matt and Bill for their support. We have a long way to go but together and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit we will succeed. On my part I promise to do all that I can to build up our Reading Catholic Community. On the back cover of the Installation program were the words of the Prophet Jeremiah: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11 ~ These words can give us hope! God Bless, Fr. Steve

Over 300 came to celebrate at Fr. Steve’s Installation Mass. The photo collage opposite captures the Spirit of the community: joyful smiles, young and old: “surely the presence of the Lord is in this place!”
