THE TURKEY MARKETING PLAN REGULATIONS – MINIMUM LIVE PRICE Order No. 20/15. The TURKEY FARMERS OF SASKATCHEWAN Board, pursuant to the provisions of The Turkey Marketing Plan Regulations and The Agri-Food Act, 2004, hereby determines and orders as follows: 1 Periodically throughout the quota year, the Board shall determine and set a minimum live price. 2 The board may set separate minimum live prices for Saskatchewan turkey marketed within and outside of the province. 3 Notice of the minimum live price shall be sent at least 48 hours prior to the date at which the prices become effective and shall be: (a) forwarded to all licensed producers and registered processors via mail, fax or e-mail; and (b) mailed, faxed or e-mailed to other persons as the Board deems necessary. 4 All minimum live price notices shall include the date and time upon which the stated price becomes effective. 5 Provincial live prices shall be distributed to processors according to their provincial categorization. 902 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, MAY 1, 2015

6 No licensed producer shall sell, and no processor shall buy, live turkey at a price that is less than the minimum live price determined by the Board. 7 This Order will remain in effect until June 21, 2016.
