PDA's v iScore: iScore has come out as the preferred opon for the scoring technology. It is much more user friendly and the applicaon itself costs about $11 which is much less expensive than Scorekeeper or Scorepad. However, the hardware is more expensive. The iPad, iPhone or Tablet vary in cost but is much more useful than the PDA ever was.

A very successful iScore training/workshop weekend was conducted by Kirsty Andrews who excelled with iScore while away with the Naonal U19 Women.

Newsleers / Website: Val Cross was once again editor of our newsleer and we thank her for persisng with this onerous task. It is sll widely distributed with maintaining regular contact with Val on maers relang to scoring as well as other topics of interest. Heat & Patriots supporng ACT for Kids at their Race Database: Day, 2011 The scoring database provides a list of each District Associaon of their accredited scorers. Hopefully this means that it will be more manageable and Scoring Coordinators will then be able to keep check on who needs reaccreditaon and when it is due.

NOAS Accreditaon/Reaccreditaon: It is an ongoing process but results are slowing starng to filter through, we have found that one problem was with not all scorers cking the ‘new card’ secon on the NOAS form, but it is now being stressed at lectures that this secon must be completed if a new card is required.

The noficaon of renewal advices is not fully operaonal and the Naonal Panel has indicated that this is one of the priories to enable a smooth flow on without having to go through the RPI procedures if any 2011 Yellow Socks Challenge teams and crowd great length of me lapses between expiring and renewal. How the database has been broken down will enable Associaons to assist with this.

Thank you to Soball Queensland for allowing me to lead our evolving group of dedicated stascians.
