On en- tering the main street of Candelo turn right over the bridge and then right again on the other side of the creek. Follow that road – which is signposted to Bemboka, Cooma and Canberra - about 9 km. At that point, on a long curving descent towards Tantawangalo Creek, the old Candelo district butter factory (now private property) is visible to the right on the banks of the creek.
