 Prayer for Mary, Connie’s mom, who was and their cousin who is in the hospital with COVID.  Happy Birthday to Wesley  Prayer for healing for Jonathan who is running a mystery fever.  Prayer for healing for Julie Harrell, Diane’s daughter, who has a blood disorder and could not get the vaccine but has contracted COVID.  Praise that the Cairns’ family was here on Sunday and all last week to visit. Prayer for safe travels as they return home and to on France.  Praise George Claulson’s biopsy on his nose came back as benign.  Prayer for healing for Karen, Kathy’s niece, who got Covid as well as both Margaret and Delmer.  Prayer for Kathy’s husband’s country that has been in lockdown with only a small percentage of population who have been able to get vaccinated.  Praise that Cal’s grandnephew is back home and doing better.  Continued prayer for Patty, Cal’s sister in law, for her ALS and that she would know the Lord.

As your church, we have at times chosen our own spiritual satisfaction to the neglect of being the body of Christ to our community. Lord, as we are confronted by our sin, pour out on us again the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, won for us at great cost by his death and resurrection. And by this grace, let us not be overwhelmed by failure, but encouraged by the possibilities that your grace and mercy bring about in our individual lives, and in Prelude our life together as your church.
