(La Jornada, Contraportada) ASTILLERO Alfredo Castillo ataca de nuevo Cárcel a “capos” deportivos Venganzas y “limpia” Conade, PGR, Los Pinos Ayer se dio un primer paso en el proceso de reorganización directiva del deporte mexicano, rumbo a próximas competencias internacionales y, cuando menos en teoría, a los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio, en 2020. Esa reorganización ha sido iniciada por la vía judicial, con la Procuraduría General de la República (PGR) como ejecutora de órdenes de aprehensión contra Antonio Lozano Pineda, presidente de la Federación Mexicana de Atletismo y de la Federación Mexicana de Asociaciones de Atletismo, asociaciones civiles, en ambos casos. El ex maratonista Pineda fue detenido en el Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México y se ha hecho saber que es el primero de una lista de ese tipo de personajes que serán encarcelados bajo la acusación de peculado, pues habrían malversado fondos públicos puestos a su disposición para ayudar a quienes representan a México en competencias deportivas diversas. En términos generales, son indefendibles los directivos de esas federaciones, que han sido constantemente acusados de practicar los peores vicios de la vida política nacional. Convertidos en caciques, se hacen relegir de manera mafiosa, favorecen a sus camarillas, desplazan y frustran a quienes no aceptan sus dictados y son causantes de la sistemática recolección deficitaria de medallas y trofeos, que causa vergüenza nacional cíclica, todo en el marco de una corrupción generalizada, con las partidas gubernamentales para apoyo al deporte convertidas en bocadillos para consumo de esos directivos mediante simulaciones fiscales y negocios particulares de toda índole.
