Greetings:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following Memoriam tribute to our dear Right Eminent Past Grand Commander James Dean Parker be read in open Commandery at the first Conclave after its receipt and that the Commandery Charter be draped in black for three months.

James Dean Parker
Sir Knight James Dean Parker, Right Eminent Past Grand Commander, passed over to that undiscovered country from whose borne no traveler returns on Saturday March 6, 2021.
Born on the 17th day of June, 1934 in Burlingame, Kansas. Brother Parker was 86 years old at the time of his passing.
Sir Knight Parker served with distinction as Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of the State of Louisiana, in 1999-2000.
Born to Riley L. and Lucille Montgomery Parker, James was educated in the Burlingame Public School System and attended the University of Kansas at Lawrence. He served on active duty in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Metry Post 6640, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He retired from the federal Government on an early retirement in Decimeter, 1983.
He was married to Judy Francis Parker. They had two sons, Daniel and Steven. Jim and Judy have lived in Kenner since 1974.
