Kilwins Set to Open New Location at Chicago s Iconic Navy Pier

’ Famous hand-crafted treat shop to offer dozens of delectable items inside the Pier’s Fifth Third Bank Family Pavilion

CHICAGO – Kilwins is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of its newest storefront, which will be located at Navy Pier (600 E. Grand Avenue), Chicago’s iconic lakefront destination. The store, slated to open in early 2020, will be a part of the Pier’s recently renovated Fifth Third Bank Family Pavilion and will be located near the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. The shop will offer a variety of delicious products, including Hand-Crafted Chocolates, Hand-Paddled Fudge, Original Recipe Ice Cream, Caramel Apples, Caramel Corns and Brittles, and many Hand-Dipped Treats that are made in the store.

Guests will have an opportunity to preview and taste some of the products ahead of storefront’s 2020 opening at the Pier’s upcoming Fifth Third Bank Winter WonderFest, which will run from Friday, December 6, 2019 through Sunday, January 12, 2020. Kilwins’ treats will be available at a kiosk inside the event.

Navy Pier, one of the top-attended destinations in the Midwest, welcomes nearly 9 million annual guests and originally opened in 1916 as a shipping and recreation facility. Offering spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, Kilwins at Navy Pier will greet dessert lovers of all ages, from Chicagoland natives to international visitors.

Kilwins’ Navy Pier location will be stewarded by Jackie Jackson, a Chicago native and current franchisee of Kilwins in Hyde Park and on Michigan Avenue. “Expanding this business and bringing it to Navy Pier has been my dream for almost a decade now,” said Jackson. “When I learned about the recent renovations at the Pier, I put the idea of opening a Kilwins storefront at Chicago’s top destination on my vision board, and knew it would be just a matter of time before it came to fruition.
