Abstrakt V této studii navazuji na svou bakalářskou práci, abych potvrdila výskyt personality u suchozemského stejnonoţce svinky různobarvé (Armadillidium versicolor) v dlouhodobém časovém měřítku, které je pro výzkum personality u ţivočichů zásadní, a přispěla tak ke zvýšení povědomí této problematiky u korýšů. Vlastní experiment trval 7 měsíců a probíhal v 9 opakováních – 3 sady po 3 opakováních, kdy mezi jednotlivými sadami byly časové rozestupy 3 měsíce, mezi opakováními v kaţdé sadě pak 1 týden. Při experimentech byli jedinci vystaveni dvěma typům stimulů napodobujících působení různých predátorů – drop a brush. Po dobu 5 minut po jejich aplikaci byly u kaţdého jedince zaznamenávány vybrané typy chování na konkrétních škálách – jednalo se o jedno z obranných chování vyskytujících se i u suchozemských stejnonoţců – volvaci, dále o horizontální a vertikální pohyb a neaktivitu. Výsledky experimentu potvrdily existenci personality u testovaného druhu i v dlouhodobém sledování, a to prokazatelněji neţ u testování krátkodobého. -

Supposedly they were either erroneously determinated or incorrect noted from the region under consideration since Eversmann 's work. 289 species are recorded from the re gion in addition to Eversmann 's list. This paper is the fifth in a series of publications1 dealing with the composition of the pres ent-day fauna of noctuid-moths in the Middle Volga and the south-western Cisurals. This re gion comprises the administrative divisions of the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Saratov, Samara, Uljanovsk, Orenburg, Uralsk and Atyraus (= Gurjev) Districts, together with Tataria and Bash kiria. Abstract: Hungarian Euchromius are revised and list of localities is provided. Structure of genitalia and mor- phological characteristics of wings are illustrated by figures. The habitats and Hungarian distribution of the species have been analysed, the latter shown on UTM-grid maps. The study is completed with references on the Hungarian distribution of the species. Introduction The world fauna of genus Euchromius is probably the best known among Crambinae since revisions after BLESZYNSZK I (1965), CAPPS (1966) and SC HOUTEN (1988, 1992). Two species of Euchromius are known to occur in Hungary (FAZEKAS 1996, PASTORÁL I S 2010) and 12 species in Europe (SLAMKA 2008). Knowledge of the biology and geo- graphical range is limited in Hungary. GOZMÁNY (1963) redescribed the diagnostic characters of the Hungarian species, and gave an account of what was known of their biology and distribution. According to SZENT -IVÁNY and UHR I K -MÉSZÁROS (1942), Euchromius superbellus (Zeller, 1849) is a problematical species in Hungary: „In der Sammlung des Naturhistorischen Museums befinden sich 2 Exemplar mit der Fundortsetikette: “Hung. coll. REBEL“ und 1 Exemplar mit dem Fundortszettel: “Hung. ANKER, coll. Rebel.“ GOZMÁNY (1963) showed later that no specimen of Euchromius superbellus is known from the actual territory of Hungary. -

Rapid Pest Risk Analysis (PRA) for: Euzophera bigella June 2018 Summary and conclusions of the rapid PRA Euzophera bigella is a moth found in much of Europe and parts of Asia, whose larvae (caterpillars) feed inside a variety of fruit and under the bark of a number of species of tree. Though there have been several adults caught in light traps in the UK, such records are very scarce and there is no evidence this species is established in any part of this country. Following the rapid screening of E. bigella via the UK Plant Health Risk Register, this PRA was requested to further assess the potential risk to the UK. This rapid PRA shows: Risk of entry The pathway of fruit (and nuts) is considered moderately likely, with medium confidence. Larvae have previously been found in imported fruit in the UK. If larvae were able to complete development inside the fruit, emerging adults would be capable of flying off and locating new hosts. The pathway of larvae under the bark of older trees for planting is considered moderately likely, with medium confidence. Larvae under the bark of younger, smaller trees is assessed as unlikely with medium confidence, as infestations produce swellings and cracks in the bark which are more likely to be seen in smaller trees. The pathway of wood with bark is considered unlikely with low confidence. Confidence is low because a different species of Euzophera has recently travelled from the USA to Italy on this pathway. 1 The pathway of natural spread is considered very unlikely with low confidence. -

E-15002 A Coruña (ESPAÑA). e-mail: [email protected] Resumen: Se elabora un listado comentado y puesto al día de los Drepanidae (Lepidoptera) presentes en O Courel (Lugo, Galicia, España, N.O. Península Ibérica), recopilando los datos bibliográficos existentes (sólo para dos especies) a los que se añaden otros nuevos como resultado del trabajo de campo del autor alcanzando un total de 13 especies. Entre los nuevos registros aportados se incluyen tres primeras citas para la provincia de Lugo: Drepana curvatula (Borkhausen, 1790), Watsonalla binaria (Hufnagel, 1767) y Cimatophorina diluta ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775). Incluimos también nuevas citas de Drepanidae para otras localidades del resto del territorio gallego, entre las que aportamos las primeras de Falcaria lacertinaria (Linnaeus, 1758) para las provincias de Ourense y Pontevedra. Abstract: Lepidoptera from O Courel (Lugo, Galicia, Spain, NW Iberian Peninsula) VII: Drepanidae (Lepidoptera). An updated and annotated list of the Drepanidae (Lepidoptera) know to occur in O Courel (Lugo, Galicia, Spain, NW Iberian Peninsula) is made, compiling the existing bibliographic records (only for two species) and reaching up to 13 species after adding new ones as a result of field work undertaken by the author. Amongst the new data the first records of Drepana curvatula (Borkhausen, 1790), Watsonalla binaria (Hufnagel, 1767) and Cimatophorina diluta ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) for the province of Lugo are reported. -

ITE contributes to, and draws upon, the collective knowledge of the 13 sister institutes which make up the Natural Environment Research Council, spanning all the environmental sciences. The Institute studies the factors determining the structure, composition and processes of land and freshwater systems, and of individual plant and animal species. It is developing a sounder scientific basis for predicting and modelling environmental trends arising from natural or man- made change. The results of this research are available to those responsible for the protection, management and wise use of our natural resources. One quarter of ITE's work is research commissioned by customers, such as the Department of Environment, the European Economic Community, the Nature Conservancy Council and the Overseas Development Administration. PLANT1*, STOYAN BESHKOV2, PREDRAG JAKŠIĆ3, ANA NAHIRNIĆ2 114 West Road, Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, CM23 3QP, England 2National Museum of Natural History, Sofia, Bulgaria 3Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics, University of Priština, Kosovska Mitrovica, Serbia ABSTRACT Pyraloidea (Lepidoptera: Crambidae & Pyralidae) were sampled in the territories of southern Serbia, Montenegro, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania on a total of 53 occasions during 2014, 2016 and 2017. A total of 173 species is reported here, comprising 97 Crambidae and 76 Pyralidae. Based upon published data, 29 species appear to be new to the fauna of Serbia, 5 species are new to the fauna of Macedonia and 37 are new to the fauna of Albania. The data are discussed. Abstract Additions, deletions and corrections are made to the Irish checklist of butterflies and moths (Lepidoptera). Elachista biatomella (Stainton, 1848) is added to the Irish list. The total number of confirmed Irish species of Lepidoptera now stands at 1480. Key words: Lepidoptera, additions, deletions, corrections, Irish list, Elachista biatomella Introduction Bond, Nash and O’Connor (2006) provided a checklist of the Irish Lepidoptera. Since its publication, many new discoveries have been made and are reported here. In addition, several deletions have been made. A concise and updated checklist is provided. The following abbreviations are used in the text: BM(NH) – The Natural History Museum, London; NMINH – National Museum of Ireland, Natural History, Dublin. The total number of confirmed Irish species now stands at 1480, an addition of 68 since Bond et al. (2006). Taxonomic arrangement As a result of recent systematic research, it has been necessary to replace the arrangement familiar to British and Irish Lepidopterists by the Fauna Europaea [FE] system used by Karsholt 60 Bulletin of the Irish Biogeographical Society No. 36 (2012) and Razowski, which is widely used in continental Europe.
