The fun of First Fridays continues from 6 to 9 p.m. on October 2nd. According to the Downtown Racine Corp., area downtown businesses will offer specials on drinks and food, and feature music and artists, including:

The ﬁrst annual ‘Love Your Canines Parade, sponsored by Dr. Gary Chu and the Chu Crew. The parade starts at 5 p.m. at Monument Square and ends at the Racine Yacht Club. For details or to reserve a place in the parade, call Dr. Chu’s ofﬁce at: (262)884-0255.

Luke’s Episcopal Church, 614 Main St. offers blessings-on-the-go to from 5 to 5:30 p.m.; guided tours of the historic Sanctuary from 5 to 6 p.m., a bell choir performance from 6-6:45 p.m. followed by prayers for the needs of the world at 7 p.m..

Henry & Wanda’s, 501 6th Street, features live music from HoneyBone (featuring the drummer and singer for the Eddie Butts Band). A new chef brings a new menu, this week featuring wild boar back ribs.

Vero International Cuisine, 211 6th will offer buy-one-get-one free sangrias and $2 off small plates from 5 to 10 p.m.

Racine Art Museum, 441 Main Street, free admission and open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Featuring Urban Wood Encounter 2015: RAM Explores Contemporary Furniture with furniture and objects made by regional artists using urban wood. Lost and Found: Featuring Kim Alsbrooks and Nikki Couppee and a free Lost and Found Adornment art activity from 4 to 8 pm.

Dover Flag & Map, 323 Main Street: Nano Bug Races: challenge your friends and cheer on your favorite color bug! envi ultralounge, 316 Main Street, new Fall menu, bar out front from 5-9 p.m. offering specials on Moscow Mules and Mojitos. Cups, mugs, discounted reﬁlls are yours through 9 p.m.; DJ K8 starts at 10 p.m.

Funky Hannah’s, 324 Main Street: Friday is the ﬁnal day of a jewelry sale fundraiser to help send youth members of the Steel Angels – steel drum band – to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Over 25 artists donated more than 200 pieces of handcrafted jewelry, with remaining pieces available at 50% off. Support these amazingly talented youngsters, in their quest to get to New York.

Seebecks, 402 Main St. welcomes Jeff Shawhan as their October Featured Artist. Jeff creates Raku ﬁred ceramic vessels, plates and tiles as well as large scale sculptures that combine ceramics and steel. Jeff’s work will displayed at Seebecks October 2 through 31.
