letter No. VP/P/2020-21/663 dated 18.02.2021 made by Village Panchayat of Paroda in respect of blockage of water in Survey No. 100/1 in Kurpem, Mullem, Paroda due to illegal land filling; (b) if so, the action taken by the Government against illegal land filling; (c) if not, the reasons for the delay in taking action; and (d) the time frame by which the action will be taken?

(a) the details of the areas notified/identified/classified as Private Forests by the Government such as name of Owner/Occupant, location, area, survey number and other relevant details; (b) the details of the methodology adopted by the Government to notify/denotify any area as Private Forest; furnish the details of each case of notifying/denotifying of Private Forest with relevant file notings; (c) whether any individual/officer/committee were empowered/authorized to notify/identify/classify and mark any area as Private Forest; (d) if so, the details of the names, addresses, qualifications, designation of the individual/Officer/Committee Members who were empowered/authorized by the Government who identified and marked the land as Private Forest along with date of the marking etc; (e) the details of the cases pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court or the National Green Tribunal or any other Court or Judicial Platform pertaining to the notification/identification/classification of Private Forests in Goa; (f) the details along with copies of the replies/affidavits/documents filed before various Courts by the Government on the matters pertaining to the notification/identification/classification of Private Forest in Goa; (g) whether the Government has undertaken any survey to identify various properties/areas under Private or Government Forest; (h) if so, the details of the name of the Agency which conducted such survey alongwith the copy of the survey report and the action taken report by the Government;

(i) whether any objections are received by the Government from various land owners/occupants regarding classification of their land into Private Forest; (j) if so, furnish constituency wise details with copies of all such objections and the action taken by the Government in each case; (k) whether any properties were mistakenly/erroneously identified/demarcated/classified as Private Forest in the State at any time in the past; (l) if so, furnish detailed list of such properties and reasons for the error and the details of the individual/Committee who were responsible for committing such mistake; (m) whether the Government has taken any steps to rectify any errors of erroneous demarcation of Private Forest; if so, the details of the methodology/procedure adopted by the Government for the same alongwith the time by which it will be completed; and (n) whether the Government will involve the stakeholders such as Bio- diversity Committees of local self- governing bodies in the above process?

(a) the number of taxis in each category such as Tourist Taxi, Yellow and Black Taxi, App based Taxi, Motorcycle taxi Service, operating in the State of Goa; (b) the details of the number of taxis registered with the Directorate of Transport and issued Permits to operate in Goa such as name of the taxi owner, make of vehicle, model of vehicle, date of issue of permit and date of expiry of the permit, etc.; (c) whether the Government has fixed any rates of fares for the taxi operators in Goa; (d) if so, the details with the copies of notifications from 2012 till date; (e) whether the Government has any mechanism to monitor the taxi services in Goa; if so, the details thereof; (f) whether the Government has given permission to any private App based taxi operators to start services in Goa with four wheeler vehicles; (g) if so, the details with copies of notifications/permissions from the year 2012 till date;

(a) the present status of the Mhadei Water Dispute and the details of all cases pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court/Mhadei Water Dispute Tribunal/National Green Tribunal pertaining to the lifeline of Goa, River Mhadei; (b) the present status of the KalsaBhamdura Project and other projects proposed by the Karnataka State on River Mhadei and its tributaries; furnish the details of all dams proposed to be constructed on the Mhadei in Goa and Karnataka along with the copies of all file notings, Government notings and correspondence, location of the dam and copies of the study conducted thereof; (c) whether the Government has copies of reports of the EIA done by NEERI, Nagpur or any other agency on the impact of the Mhadei Hydroelectric Project commissioned by the Karnataka Government; if so furnish the same; (d) whether a salinity study has just been or is presently being carried out in the Mhadei/Mandovi river; if so; furnish details of the latest such study; why is such a study being carried out during the rainy season and not during the summer;

(e) the details of the salinity levels of Mhadei water from 1972 till date along with copies of all inspection reports carried out till date; (f) whether the Government is aware of data of salinity of Mhadei/Mandovi river published by the NIO; if so, whether there was a need of carrying out a salinity study again; if so, furnish detailed reasons for the same along with the data published by NIO and the data collected by the latest study; (g) whether the Government has conducted any inspection of the River Mhadei in the last 2 years; if so, give all Inspection Reports, names of the officials who conducted the inspection and details of the action taken by the Government; and (h) whether any diversion of water is presently done by the Karnataka State from the Mhadei basin; if so, furnish details of the locations at which such diversions are made and quantum of water diversion?

(a) whether the Government has given any permission to any private university to establish itself in the State of Goa; (b) if so, the details thereof; and

SMT ALINA SALDANHA ISSUES RELATED TO DOUBLING OF SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY (SWR) TRACKS, GOA SECTOR 004A *WILL the Minister for Revenue be pleased to state:

(a) with reference to Land Acquisition for Doubling of SWR track, has the Directorate of Settlement and Land Records (DSLR) given any indication by way of documents/written evidence, whether the land alongside the existing SWR railway line belongs to the South Western Railway, if so, furnish the documents/communication; (b) the total area of land to be acquired within the State of Goa for the Doubling of SWR tack, Goa Sector; (c) as per the Indian Railway Code for Engineering Department, has the Railway authority provided the Land Revenue Department or the local Government or Administration the project report and construction estimate for the Doubling of the SWR track which has to include the cost of land, if so, furnish the copy of the same; and (d) specify the stand of the Revenue Department of the State vis-a-vis the report dated 23nd April, 2021 of the Central Empowered Committee (CEC) of the Supreme Court w.r.t. Doubling of SWR track in the State of Goa?

SMT. ALINA SALDANHA EMPLOYMENT TO LOCALS IN THE INDUSTRIAL UNITS IN THE STATE 004B *WILL the Minister for Labour and Employment be pleased to state:

(a) whether it is a fact that unemployment is on the rise as the vacancies arising in various Government Departments alone cannot cater to the youth seeking employment in the State and hence employment is sought in the industrial sector; (b) whether it is a fact that the Industries within the State have not been advertising the vacancies arising in their respective units thereby depriving the employment opportunities of the locals; (c) whether the Industrial Policy of the Government of Goa has any provisions by which it is assured that all the Industrial units within the State have to compulsorily advertise the vacancies arising in their units/ companies; (d) whether the Industrial Policy in the State have a provision/ clause for job reservation to the locals of the State where the industry is

located; if so, whether the policy is being implemented by the Government; (e) the percentage/quota of job reservation as per the industrial policy; and (f) whether it is a fact that job fairs were conducted in the State about a year ago; if so, whether the Government has information with respect to the number of Goans/ locals that have been recruited through the opportunities made available at these job fairs?
