FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BOOTS & COOTS CONTRACTS WITH CAPSTONE BLOWOUT RECOVERY TO SUPPLEMENT WELL CONTROL SERVICES HOUSTON – May 26, 2017 – Boots & Coots, a Halliburton service (NYSE:HAL), is pleased to announce that it has entered into a contractual arrangement with Capstone Blowout Recovery (Calgary, Canada), for the companies to work together to provide first responder and well control services for Boots & Coots customers throughout Canada. By working together with Capstone, Boots & Coots will be able to bring initial incident response to the Canadian market provided by Canadian nationals, using Canadian equipment, from a Canadian base of operations to help create efficiencies in response time. This arrangement will also support the services provided under the Boots & Coots WELLSURE® insurance program provided by Lloyd’s of London/Global Special Risks. Initiated in 1997, the WELLSURE® program is the product of a special arrangement between Boots & Coots Services, Global Special Risks, a leading international Managing General Agent, and Underwriters at Lloyd's of London. The result is a unique bundled package that includes a full range of Boots & Coots' well control prevention and post-response services as part of clients' OEE insurance package.
