Choir Directory ...... 50 Greetings: Festival Locations ...... 51 A hearty welcome to each of you! This fantastic Festival celebrates song, singing, the human spirit and connects the world. I am honored to welcome you to the San Francisco Bay Area for the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir Golden Gate International Children’s and Youth Choral Festival. What could be more human than singing? Songs which soar from our hearts, listening which brings a smile to our hearts. Beethoven said “From my heart to your heart,” from the performer to the listener and back again from the listener to the performer. Maestro Robert Geary, the staff, the volunteers, the board members and the hosts all recognize the enormous value in sharing your talents, skills and having fun singing. You may find the Golden Gate International Children’s and Youth Choral Festival a life changing experience. Music-making permeates the body, mind and spirit providing this life changing experience.
