This time the theme is ‘VERITAS’ – a tribute to Kinks bass player Pete Quaife . This script has resulted in the publication of a book with the same name: ‘Veritas ’. The book will be spread over two volumes and part 1 was presented on March 27 in the ‘Clissold Arms’ in Fortis Green, Muswell Hill, London, the well known pub where Ray and Dave Davies had their first ‘public performance’. The presentation was attended by Elisabeth Bilbo , the widow of Pete, and his brother David Quaife . ‘Veritas’ describes the rise of the youth culture and music scene in Great Britain after the war. -
