Transcribed by Ed Luskey Lately I don't know where I went wrong, But the spell of that pretty young girl is far too strong, Between her fine perfume and angel face, My whole world became another place. The dark side of her intelligence was so strong, Soon there'll be no difference in right or wrong. Next thing I know I had a key that unlocked her door. I could not wait to hear the siren song, The beginning of the end of my happy home. Sailin', sailing 'cross the devil's sea, oooh, hooo, too blind in love, too blind to see. Heard them say the payback's double-fold, Just can't seem to remember who I bought and sold. I'll probably still be here when you come around next year, Trying to climb from this deep dark hole. I'll be damned if I just don't feel I'm growin' old. Sailing, sailing 'cross the devil's sea, ohhh, hooo, Too blind in love, too blind to see. Cause she was eviler than evil, slippery like a fox, set me up with pain and woe and, I swear it won't seem to stop. If I could just remove her hook from deep from within my soul, Swear I'll leave and not come back, just let me out that door. Sailin', sailing 'cross the devil's sea, ohhh, hooo, Too blind in love, too blind to see. The Allman Brothers Band - Sailin' 'Cross The Devil's Sea w Teksciory.pl.

This is my first time to be a Sire, but with my accent, Rich Garlinghouse, the Imperial Potentate around here, thought I’d be perfect . 2 . and, Rich, thanks for letting me do it without an interpreter. Rich says I’m the only member of the Club who pronounces his first name with three syllables. [For Thursday continue with head-table remarks, then end; Resume remarks after first musical number in Jinks Theater Thursday night. Downstairs script begins with thank yous after “South’s Gonna Do It Again.] [For Friday Night, continue straight through.] -- 3 We are here tonight to honor and appreciate Southern Rock. One of this genre’s pioneers, Greg Allman, believes the term “Southern Rock” is redundant. “Sort of like ‘rock rock.’” After all, rock & roll began as southern music. There’d be no rock without the blues, created in the Mississippi Delta by the original bluesmen, like Charlie Patton of Dockery Farms, and Hazlehurst’s Robert Johnson, who, legend has it, sold his soul to the devil to learn to play the blues guitar, down where Highway 49 intersects with US 61.

CONCERT PROMOTER BIO 2016/2017 MASCOT LABEL GROUP/PROVOGUE Beth Hart is on fire. Right now, the Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter is riding a creative tidal wave, firing out acclaimed albums, hooking up with the biggest names in music and rocking the house each night with that celebrated burnt-honey voice. In 2016, the headline news is Beth’s latest album, Fire On The Floor (out 14 October 2016 (Europe / Australia / New Zealand) and 3 February 2017 (US / CanaDa) on Provogue/Mascot Label Group): a release that even this fiercely self-critical artist describes as “pretty frickin’ good”. But let’s not forget the backstory that brought her here… The Blues Magazine once dubbed Beth Hart “the ultimate female rock star”, and there’s no doubt that her two-decade career is the ultimate thrill-ride. Born in Los Angeles, she released a fistful of hit albums through the ’90s, then reignited in the post-millennium as both a solo artist and the head-turning vocalist for guitar heroes like Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, BuDDy Guy and Slash. “Extraordinary,” wrote The Times of her once-a-generation voicebox, while The Guardian praised her “daring, brooding and angry” performances. It’s no wonder she’s been nominated for three Blues Music Awards. But it’s in recent times that Beth has truly blossomed. In April 2015, she released Better Than Home: a critical and commercial smash that toppeD the iTunes Blues Chart and was crowneD #4 Best Blues Album Of The Year by Mojo magazine. The release led her to fill AmsterDam’s Heineken Music Hall with 5,500 fans (her largest club show to Date).

Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa Black Coffee PRD75441 Grammy Nominated Artists Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa release their new record ‘Black Coffee’ on January 26th via: Provogue (Europe) and J&R Adventures (US & Canada) Featuring songs made famous by Edgar Winter, Ray Charles, Etta James, Steve Marriot, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Lucinda Williams, LaVern Baker & more. It has been 4 years since Grammy nominated and number 1 Billboard Blues album Seesaw was released by singer- songwriter and blues-rock powerhouse Beth Hart and guitar hero Joe Bonamassa. Since then, they have both been on fire, both in the studio and live. So, the time was perfect to reunite for another collection of ten soul gems that encompass Hart’s breath-taking vocals and Joe’s masterfully expressive playing. Black Coffee will be released on January 26th, 2018. With producer extraordinaire Kevin ‘The Caveman’ Shirley (Joe Bonamassa, Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Rush) back at the helm, the result digs deep into the soul catalogue where they honour and re-imagine songs from Edgar Winter, Etta, James, Ike & Tina Turner/Steve Marriot, Ella Fitzgerald, Lil’ Green, LaVern Baker, Howlin’ Wolf, Lucinda Williams and Waldeck. Recorded in 5 days at Studio at the Palms, Las Vegas in August 2016 they have once again recalled some familiar names in Anton Fig (Drums/Percussion), Ron Dziubla (Saxophone), Lee Thornburg (Horn Arrangements/Trumpet/Trombone) and welcomed in Reese Wynans (Keyboards), Michael Rhodes (Bass), Rob McNelley (Rhythm Guitar), Paulie Cerra (Saxophone), Mahalia Barnes (Backing Vocals), Jade Macrae (Backing Vocals) and Juanita Tippins (Backing vocals). Talking about the sessions behind Black Coffee, Seesaw, 2011’s Don’t Explain and 2014’s Live in Amsterdam, Shirley gives some insight of what they are looking to achieve; “We’re trying not to dig into a playbook that’s been done many times, which is the old soul classics.
