BJP National President said that this election is not to elect any MLA, neither it is to change the CM, rather it is to change the fate of Uttar Pradesh, bring development and change in Uttar Pradesh. He said that the 15 years of riling pattern created by SP-BSP has pushed Uttar Pradesh back in the race of development. Aiming at Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, he said that while one has looted the country, the other has looted the state. These two ‘sahibzadas’ cannot develop Uttar Pradesh. The development of Uttar Pradesh can only be done by the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party. Shri Shah said that in Uttar Pradesh, a peculiar type of cat-race is going on. He said that every state in the country wants to be first in fields like employment generation, providing 24 hrs electricity, agriculture development, education and health, but the SP government in Uttar Pradesh has created a new definition of development. The government wants to be number one in murder, loot and rapes. He said that every day, dozens of murder and rapes occur in the state. Appealing to the people of the state, he said that a government which cannot stop condemnable acts like murder and rapes has no right to rule the state of Uttar Pradesh. Stating that Mathura is the centre of faith and trust for faithful people spread across the world, he said that the Mathura which is considered as the heritage of Indian culture across the world, is considered as the land of Lord Krishna and Maa Yamuna, today the same Mathura is known as ‘Ram Vriksha’ by the people. He said that behind this nomenclature of ‘Ram Vriksha’ is the SP government of the state, on the strength of whom he captured the Jawahar Bagh of Mathura. He said that be it the land of any government, poor, farmer or any widow, SP-sheltered criminal elements had illegally captured their land. He affirmed the people of the state that within one week of the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the state, these land-mafias would be out of the border of the state. He said that corruption and hooliganism can only come to an end in the state when the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party comes in the state. BJP president said that if the BJP government is formed in Uttar Pradesh, the that the BJP we would work to ensure the safety of the sisters and daughters, all college will have anti-Romeo squad there will crack down on and hooligans. He said, after the formation of BJP government the machine run slaughterhouse will be closed to ensure the protection of animals. He said, Akhilesh Yadav, is asking Prime Minister when will the good days come in UP, I am telling you, Akhilesh ji when you will go, then immediately the good days will come, you have blocked the good days. He said whenever a victim in UP goes for reporting crime in police station he is asked about his religion and caste. Asking people Shri Shah said, what a case has to do with caste o religion? The BJP has decided that if the Inspector do not registers a complaint then action will be taken against them too. He said, Politics should not be based on caste or religion, There will be rule of law in UP after the formation of the BJP government.. Vote bank politics and the politics of appeasement, by SP, BSP and Congress have ruined the entire UP: Shri Shah said, after BJP forms the government debt of small and marginal farmers will be waived, not only that, they will also be provided interest-free loans for agriculture. He said that after the BJP government comes in UP the migration from state will be prevented.. 'We have decided that 25 new medical colleges and 80 new engineering colleges will be opened so that the youths of the state do not have to go out for study, students will be provided free education up to graduation, as well as youth will get 1GB free data with Internet connectivity will be provided with free laptops. He said that whatever we say we do it. Taking a dig at Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi and BJP president said that you see on television every day fashion show, in a similar habits both the prince flock together they come and go, I want to ask them there was so much hooliganism, incidents of rape, many problems to farmers but where were they?.He said nothing has changed, Gayatri Prajapati is still standing besides Akilesh, in SP the status quo prevails. He said, after making alliance with the congress Akhilesh is trying to befool people but the people of the state are asking an account of bad law and order situation, account of unemployment, safety of woman and destruction of farmers, people are asking account of these. Shri Shah said that now Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi talking of good governance in the state, i want to ask them now what you are promising in front of people what did you do in the last five years, they should answer this. He said Prime Minister during the two and half years of Modi government more than 100 public welfare schemes have been rolled and through these schemes the life of poor have been uplifted. He said, we have facilitated gas connection in the homes of poor. The crop of the farmers have been insured from farm to filed, along with it we have made arrangements for water to reach to fields. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, BJP president said that Rahul Gandhi asks us that even after two and a half years there is still firing going on borders what difference did the Modi government made. He said, Rahul Baba, has the Italian glasses on his eyes therefore could not distinguish, Earlier at the border the opening and closing of fire were done by Pakistani as Indian army has no permission to fire in exchange now brick is responded with stone. He said that PM Shri Narendra Modi’s strong political will power and the at most bravery of our soldiers resulted in entering the Pakistan territory and did surgical strike and avenges the sacrifice of our brave soldiers.

  • Western Uttar Pradesh: Caste Arithmetic Vs Nationalism
VERDICT 2019 Western Uttar Pradesh: Caste Arithmetic vs Nationalism SMITA GUPTA Samajwadi Party patron Mulayam Singh Yadav exchanges greetings with Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati during their joint election campaign rally in Mainpuri, on April 19, 2019. Photo: PTI In most of the 26 constituencies that went to the polls in the first three phases of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in western Uttar Pradesh, it was a straight fight between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that currently holds all but three of the seats, and the opposition alliance of the Samajwadi Party, the Bahujan Samaj Party and the Rashtriya Lok Dal. The latter represents a formidable social combination of Yadavs, Dalits, Muslims and Jats. The sort of religious polarisation visible during the general elections of 2014 had receded, Smita Gupta, Senior Fellow, The Hindu Centre for Politics and Public Policy, New Delhi, discovered as she travelled through the region earlier this month, and bread and butter issues had surfaced—rural distress, delayed sugarcane dues, the loss of jobs and closure of small businesses following demonetisation, and the faulty implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST). The Modi wave had clearly vanished: however, BJP functionaries, while agreeing with this analysis, maintained that their party would have been out of the picture totally had Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his message of nationalism not been there. travelled through the western districts of Uttar Pradesh earlier this month, conversations, whether at district courts, mofussil tea stalls or village I chaupals1, all centred round the coming together of the Samajwadi Party (SP), the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD).

VISHWANATH CHATURVEDI & ORS. … RESPONDENTS Page 2 3 J U D G M E N T ALTAMAS KABIR, CJI. 1. Certain questions of fact and law were raised on behalf of the parties when the review petitions were heard. Review petitions are ordinarily restricted to the confines of the principles enunciated in Order 47 of the Code of Civil Procedure, but in this case, we gave counsel for the parties ample opportunity to satisfy us that the judgment and order under review suffered from any error apparent on the face of the record and that permitting the order to stand would occasion a failure of justice or that the judgment suffered from some material irregularity which required correction in review. The scope of a review petition is very limited and the submissions advanced were made mainly on questions of fact. As Page 3 4 has been repeatedly indicated by this Court, review of a judgment on account of some mistake or error apparent on the face of the record is permissible, but an error apparent on the face of the record has to be decided on the facts of each case as an erroneous decision by itself does not warrant a review of each decision.
