The Pella, Iowa native needs just 30 points to surpass the 1,000 mark for her career and become just the second women’s player to do so while playing entirely in the NCAA era, joining now-assistant coach Maddie Nelson. Bradley, who spent her freshman year at Sioux Falls, will also become the fastest women’s player to reach this mark, surpassing Nelson, who joined the club in 98 games. • Bradley is making a name for herself at the national level, ranking in the top-10 in eight different statistical categories, including points per game (7th), steals (4th), three point field goals made (4th) and field goals made (2nd). • Ainsley Tolson continues to dish out points for her teammates, entering the week ranked 14th with 25 total assists and 48th in the nation with an average of 4.2 per game. • The Jewell defense has been strong, albeit different for a Jill Slominski team, thus far this season. Typically, it is hard to score against the Cardinals but this season teams are averaging 67.2 points, but Jewell has countered with forcing nearly 19 turnovers per game and their 67 steals are third nationally. • The Cardinals finally found their three point shot against Missouri S&T, hitting 9-of-21 (.429) after struggling for the first three weeks of the season, shooing just 24% in five games. Jewell’s likes to play quick, with a roster full of long, athletic players, so the three point shot is key. The Cardinals are 11th nationally in three point field goal attempts. • Kiara Bradley has already twice been selected as a part of the NCAA-II All-Stats team, a weekly recognition of the top-five statistical perform- ers from the Division II beat writers. With the NCAA-II dead week occuring last week the honor this time was presented to the top statistical performers from the first half of the season and Bradley once again made the list, primarily for her four double-doubles, which is tied for the national lead. • Jewell will be one of the deepest teams in the GLVC this season with seven seniors, including three redshirt seniors, to go along with four oth- er players who appeared in at least 20 games last year. The Cardinals graduated four, but only one of those players saw action in 10 games, with the rest out due to injury. • Head coach Jill Slominski is entering season No. 25 and is the most veteran coach in the GLVC. Slominski owns 442 wins and her 2005 team owns the program record for wins in a season with 28. William Jewell Women’s Basketball >>> CARDINALS NUMERICAL ROSTER ## NAME POS. HT. YR.
