This work is derived from digital picturesa taken on January 24th 1986 with the clear filter of the Voyager 2 Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS). The original dataset is available at the Cartography and Imaging Sciences Discipline Node of NASA’s Planetary Data System (NASA/JPL/USGS)b. Image processing (reseaux and noise removal, radiometric and distorsion corrections, tone matching), image registration, and map projections were done with the USGS ISIS 3 digital image processing software packagec on an Arch Linux distributiond. Additional projections were achieved using the Geospatial Data Abstraction e f Library . Final image editing was made with the ImageMagick software suite . The montage was created with LATEX using the g h TikZ and PGF packages and the TEX Gyre fonts . Feature names and locations originate from the International Astronomical Union Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclaturei. Additional information (such as physical characteristics) was retrieved from the Wikipedia article on Mirandaj.
