We are developing ourselves and the place in numerous sustainable directions – within a natural building, permaculture farming, food and vegetable production as well as within the social dimension with a special emphasis on working with volunteers, youngsters ... Location THE WIDER OBJECTIVE: Open the possibility to young people to experience sustainable living in rural communities, initiatives and family farms. Be involved in eco-building, permaculture farming, social permaculture, children’s care, promotion of sustainability (taking photos, making videos, working with social media…), activities of local integration in the region, … and we are opened for new ideas also. EXPLANATION OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE ESC VOLUNTEERS: PROGRAM? ESC activity will take place in the sustainable initiative farm, therefore volunteers will have interaction with examples of good practice of low environmental footprint in rural life. The schedule will include various activities; mainly practical with explanations from different fields of sustainable practices (permacultural farming, natural construction, community living, social permaculture, social entrepreneurship, energy resources, water cycle on the estate, natural cosmetic). The volunteers will be, depending on the need of the farm and their interest and motivation, working in a variety of activities and projects/workshops that will take place within association. We always try to find the balance that supports all included: the farm, volunteers, family, local environment. He or she will also have our support and opportunities to develop their own personal projects within the frame of possible resources (time, motivation, capability, money). The association cooperates with various sustainable organizations, both local and international, and it's a part of various networks. Therefore the volunteers will have a possibility of cooperating with networks according to their own interests. CLICK HERE TO APPLY ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: Zavod Veles is the family non-profit organization that includes volunteers from local and abroad. The main aim of Zavod Veles is to support and promote a sustainable way of living. To be an example of good practice. To show, teach and to allow people to try to live it this way. Topics, such as natural building, permaculture farming, preserving of the food, natural cosmetic, social permaculture, community living, promotion, social economy, local connection and integration, take a big part of our focus. We are professionals in some of them (ex. natural building, social permaculture&economy ...) and some of them are just needed in our daily life (permaculture farming, community living …) and are step by step becoming more professional. We are doing our best to integrate the permaculture principles in every activity that is part of our organization. The seat of the organization is on the farm so we spontaneously include in our day-life producing and processing the food for the sustainability of the organization. On the farm and on the other places we organize workshops/projects about the above-mentioned topics. Our goal is that people learn how to be self-supply as possible and that they have an idea and motivation on how they can change their lives when they return home. In the year 2020 a Sustainable Educational Centre/Community place will be finished, where we will be able to link the above-mentioned activities on a proper level of accommodation. The people we are welcoming are people interested in a sustainable lifestyle, simple life in nature without overwhelming luxury, in natural building and ecological farming. Target groups are people that want to make a change. Organisation' s activities are all the time supported by two members of the family who have professional knowledge about natural building, permaculture and education. Other skilled members of the organization, who are not living on the farm, join us and support the process when agreed. Volunteers joining our farm, our organization take part in our projects and will have the support to develop also their own interest in their projects. Zavod Veles is a new organization, established in January 2016. As a beginner we put our energy in networking, connecting, being known, coworking. The organization became part of many sustainable networks and started to collaborate with other organizations and initiatives that support sustainability. .

The reputation oY hard-working Yarm women is such that Slovenian farmers are Yinding it increasingly difficult to find wives. Marriage brokerage agencies exist especially to help young farmers find a marriage partner willing to live and work on a farm. Not that arm life doesn't have its economic rewards. Farms in Slovenia the northwestern republic oY Yugoslavia are relatively prosperous--average Yarm income there is 5 higher then the average Yarm income for Yugoslavia as a whole-- and many of Slovenia's armers have built large new houses well-furnished and modern most with television. Much of the success of Slovenian farms must however be attributed to the contribution of farm wives. Because 80% o Slovenia's farmers work of the farm (i.e. deriving at least 20% o total Yamily income from oYY-farm work) much of the management and labor for the farm operaion is provided by women. Women's contribution is very aparent on the dairy farms I visited south of Ljubljana the capital oY Sloveia. These are private Yarms owned and operated by individuals rather than by the state. One farm located in the wooded hills overlooking the Ljubljana Valley, is run by a young couple with two children. The husband works Yull time as a butcher in the local cooperative while his wife handles all the feeding milkimg and cleaning of dairy cows each o which produces an average o 800 liters oY milk per year.

Klub borilnih veščin Sevnica s karateisti, rokoborci in kickboksarji kontinuirano razveseljuje lokalno skupnost z odličnimi tekmovalnimi dosežki. V štirih desetletjih obstoja in aktivnega delovanja so ponesli slavo sevniškega in slovenskega karateja tudi daleč izven naših meja. BLAGOVNA ZNAMKA SOŽITJE – KOZJANSKI PARK Kolektivna blagovna znamka je namenjena promociji pridelkov, izdelkov in storitev, ki so v duhu trajnostne sonaravne pridelave in predelave, ki ohranja okolje in naravo. Proizvodi morajo biti pridelani in predelani na naravi in ljudem prijazen način ter s čim manjšim vplivom na okolje in naravo. Med nastajanjem, rabo ali po vsebini proizvodi ne smejo biti v nasprotju s poslanstvom zavarovanega območja. Blagovno znamko Sožitje – Kozjanski park lahko pridobijo kmetje, obrtniki in organizacije, ki delujejo na zavarovanem območju Kozjanskega regijskega parka in biosfernem območju Kozjansko in Obsotelje. Do sedaj je pravico do uporabe blagovne znamke Sožitje – Kozjanski park pridobilo že 18 ponudnikov pridelkov, izdelkov in storitev. Ponudnikom pravico do uporabe blagovne znamke Sožitje – Kozjanski park vsako leto podelimo na prireditvi Praznik kozjanskega jabolka.
